Moved to the jetty started slow, but changed bait and immediately caught a huge redfish that was too large to keep. We caught three reds. Two Spanish mackerel and too many toad fish etc to count. Fun day for the family. I would definitely recommend this crew for any experience level.

Our 5 hour day out with Capt. Jessie yielded more fish in five minutes than the other two combined! Highly, highly recommend!! Jessie is local and knows all of the great spots to cast a line.

Jessey was very knowledgeable of the area, put us on fish and from the pics, you can see the haul my wife and I brought in. This was my first time fishing in salt water. I have always freshwater fished in lakes and rivers for trout and bass, so this was a great experience. Equipment was excellent. Nice to fish light tackle. This makes the trip. You get to feel the bite and take some finesse to get the fish in. Good quality spinning rod and reel. You can see the captain takes care with all of his equipment. We done the 4 hour trip which was the right amount of time for us. Will definitely be back to do this again next fall. Thanks Jessey.

Captain Jessey is a quite adept at knowing where to fish and using the right bait. We went out looking for Black Drum and while the other boats seemed to be wandering about, Jessey put in them and we made limit. After that we headed two other spots for different fish and caught four stripers(threw them back) and a big bullhead which also was released. All in all it was a fun productive day. Please contact Shallow Minded Charters…you’ll be glad you did.

Born and raised in Little River, I've spent my entire life on these waters—both inshore and offshore—learning every creek, inlet, and reef this area has to offer. Fishing isn't just something I do, it's what I've grown up doing, and it's a passion that's been part of me from the start. I've been a licensed captain since 2011, and over the years I've built my experience through countless hours on the water as well as competing in inshore, offshore fishing tournaments. Tournament fishing has taken me to different places and pushed me to constantly improve, but it's also deepened my respect for the sport and the local waters I call home. What sets my charters apart is the hands-on experience I provide. Whether you're an experienced angler or stepping on a boat for the first time, I take pride in teaching, guiding, and making sure every trip is both productive and enjoyable. I'm especially passionate about getting kids involved in fishing and helping grow the next generation of anglers. At the end of the day, my goal is simple—put you on fish, share my knowledge, and make sure everyone on board has a great time out on the water.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
