Quatsino Sound & Winter Harbour 

Quatsino Sound & Winter Harbour runs angling trips out of Coal Harbour and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Come on aboard with Capt. Steven, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you will join the captain on a 3-day and 4-night trip, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Black Rockfish, Rockfish, Lingcod, Halibut, Tuna, and Salmon, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your boat for the day will be a 27’ Sea Ray that fits up to 4 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with a toilet and an ice box. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.
