Come on down and fish with the captain who won the most tournaments in the area! Captain Vidal has been fishing in the area for 40 years and he’s a legend among his colleagues. He and his crew won every fishing tournament from 2005 to 2012. Manzanillo Luckiest Fishing run big game fishing trips year-round and they are happy to have you on board.

You’ll be angling from a 38’ Bertram fishing machine. This flybridge boat accommodates up to 8 guests. She’s powered by twin 425 HP Caterpillar engines and equipped with full electronics – VHF radio, GPS, Fishfinder, and sound system. The boat also has a professional Pompanette fighting chair, which comes more than handy when you have Billfish hooked on the other side of the line.

Your targets for the day are the most exciting, hard-fighting fish species you can find. You’ll go after different types of Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. Since you have an experienced crew by your side, you’ll have high chances of reeling one of these for the first time. The captain’s motto is: ‘‘Everybody can be great at fishing if they are lucky!’‘. So don’t let the lack of experience to stop you from joining the crew!

Some fish can be kept and the crew will share half of the catch with you. After the trip, they will clean and fillet it for you. Ask them to recommend a great local place, where the fish can be prepared in the traditional way.

The captain will provide you with Penn fishing equipment, lures, dead bait, and drinks. Bring your snacks for the day and you’re ready to go!

Each trip can be accommodated to your needs. It all depends on whether you want to have more fun, more excitement, or more relaxation. Get in touch with Manzanillo Luckiest Fishing and book your spot on time!

5 Hour Trip

Seven hours of fishing

VERIFIED

What a great trip. My wife and I with our friends (also a couple). Left a 7am. Beautiful morning, nice breeze that lasted all day and the water was perfect. We caught two fish, A Skipjack and a maji maji. Fishing is not always about catching, It’s the whole experience and Captain Vidal and his 1st Mate (His Son) Bruno were very interesting and tried real hard to find a good place to fish and made our experience very positive. I would highly recommend this Fishing charter

We left the dock at 8 am. And by 11, we caught our limits of Mahi Mahi and headed in. The Captain got us on the fish and Ramon the deckhand worked the gear. We had a great time. Fishing in the rain was fantastic! Fish On! See ya next year.

I am sorry about your coment Jerry. I was at the bridge running the boat. Looking for fish and searching the ocean for any action. We had some small stripped marlins chaising our lures and baits. They didnt bite. We put at the ice chest water coke and 24 beers. You were three persons and your fishing buddies They were talking with me and drinking They came to the flybridge. I charge only and extra case of beer. Because they drank the first case. And they ask me for more beer Fishing was poor. The water was cold adn dirty. 78 degrees. We west 30 plus miles offshore. No luck I was dissaponted too. That is fishing. No catching. Thank you Vidal Davalos Laurel Skipper-owner Luckiest Fishing Team .
