Captain Andy – Party Boat Fishing
The exceptional Party Boat Fishing, run by Captain Andy Roydhouse offers unrivaled reef and nearshore trips. A family business, Capt. Andy is the fourth generation of fishermen in his family and is committed to providing a fun, productive time to all aboard.
The Drift My Boat is a 85’ party fishing boat, designed to carry up to 60 passengers, all of whom will fish off the side of the boat. This party boat runs tours every single day in the prolific waters out of Fort Lauderdale.
Everything you’ll need in order to fish will be provided by Capt. Andy, including rods, reels, and bait. He’ll also be happy to clean and fillet your catch so you can take it home and taste the fruits of your labor.
On this boat, you’ll go bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper, Porgy, Grunt, and other small to medium-sized bottom fish. Most fish caught are in the 1-2 pound range and they are good eating fish. Some trips even catch bigger game fish such as sharks.
You will be accompanied by an experienced captain and mate, who will guide you and take you about one mile offshore to the Fort Lauderdale reef.
Feel free to bring your kids and turn this into an educational experience. You’ll spend some quality family time while making some great memories together! All you need to bring is some food and drinks for your refreshment, and you’re all set.
Please know, there is a risk of seasickness. Should you be prone to seasickness please take medication prior to the trip.

Party Boat Fishing – Night
Night trip 7 to 11
We went out from 7 to 11 the boat had around 30 people on board. I went with my wife and two kids 10 and 13. The First spot we stopped there was just a couple fish caught. Captain decided to move us to a little deeper water. We caught several fish on the second spot nothing to big but the kids had fun. I will say they did extend our trip a half hour because everyone was still catching fish which I thought was super nice of them to do. The captain and crew were very helpful with my kids getting them unstuck and retrying their hooks. All in all was a fun trip with lots of fish caught would definitely go again!

Great Crew
We had a great time aboard Catch My Drift! The deckhands were absolutely amazing—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. They made the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone on board. The tour itself was well-organized and delivered exactly what we hoped for. The only downside was a few fellow patrons who didn’t follow the crew’s instructions, which caused some unnecessary disruptions. However, that was no fault of the crew, who handled the situation with patience and professionalism. All in all, a solid experience and we’d definitely recommend Catch My Drift—especially if you’re looking for a team that knows how to treat their guests right.

Party Boat Fishing (PM)
All is well that ends well
about an hour before our scheduled trip with Captain Andy, we got a call stating that our trip was cancelled as many people on the party boat cancelled due to weather. Well the weather was great on the day of our planned trip. The captain said he did not have enough people to go out. I told him that it was the only time slot we had available to go so he gave us another option. For additional consideration, and not so much, he could arrange a private charter for our party of 3. That is not the trip we planned but after waiting for around 30 years for my wife to go fishing with me, we decided to take their offer so the boat captain and mate David took us fishing on their private over 40' boat. We used plaining equipment, outriggers and giant fishing equipment . We did not know what we were going to catch but David the mate was really trying hard. We did catch one grouper(dinner) and one yellow tail snapper and a bunch of blue runners for bait. Well, that bait landed us a 40 pound amber jack that we took a picture and sent him back to his home. It was not the trip that we had signed up for but the company did try to make us happy and we did have a great day on the water. By the way, we found out that our original charter was cancelled as a large group came along and chartered the whole head boat. All is well that ends well. Thank you

OMFG! The best fishing experience I have had yet!
Look, I get its a party boat, but it was ok. Wasn't too crowded. And listen, this is fishing so this part is just part of the game. I booked 4 hours in the morning and only caught a couple. Trigger fish were being jerks. But the crew were amazing and really knew their stuff. So I booked and went on bothe the afternoon and evening. And well let me tell you it was and absolute slaughter fest in the evening. I couldn't keep my line down longer than 60 seconds before I was hut. Fish after fish after fish. I will be going with these guys again.

We loved the company ! The deck hands were amazing ! So patient , funny , and really helped my two kids ( 9 and 11 ) bait and cast a line . They kept coming around to check how everyone was doing and chat . They are smart and do this a lot so it was great to hear their experiences .
