Looking for an angling adventure in beautiful Ocean City, MD? Bottom Bouncer Fishing is here to provide you with a safe, affordable, and action-packed fishing trip. Captain John Foreman is the man behind the helm of the “Bottom Bouncer,” and he warmly welcomes anglers of all ages and skill levels on board.
Capt. John has over 2 decades of angling experience on these waters. When he was a teenager, he couldn’t wait for each day at school to end, so he could grab his rod and reels and head out to the water! Now, he uses his years of knowledge to introduce guests to what Ocean City has to offer. Want to battle notorious Shark species? Capt. John volunteers for the NMFS Apex Predator Program: Shark tagging is a fun and educational activity to experience!
All about the pull on the end of your line? Capt. John says that his favorite sound is a screaming drag, and he’ll happily have you light tackle fishing for Seabass, Flounder, Triggerfish, Bluefish, and many more. Inshore trolling for Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel is a blast, and you can combine fishing with sightseeing, too. Experience is not a problem: hardcore anglers are welcome as well as kids and first-timers. Capt. John believes that you’re never too young or too old to discover a love for fishing!
Each adventure takes place on your captain’s 25’ pilothouse, built to accommodate up to 5 guests. You’ll all be able to fish at the same time, so don’t be afraid to get a friendly competition going. You’ll be joined by a friendly and helpful first mate, who’ll show you the ropes and be on hand for whatever you need. A 20% tip is customary. You’ll find top-notch navigational and safety gear on board, too. Sharks bite all day long so there is no better time of day to fish.
Capt.John will make sure you have the finest rods and reels, as well as tackle, live bait, lures, specialized chum, and a fishing license. All that’s left is to come aboard and join Bottom Bouncer Fishing for an unforgettable day on the water!

We had an absolutely incredible experience shark fishing with this charter! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. John and Hunter were not only extremely knowledgeable, but also incredibly friendly and patient—especially with my two daughters, who were both excited and a little nervous at first. They took the time to explain everything, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun. We felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire trip. We caught several sharks and made unforgettable memories. I can’t recommend this charter enough—thank you, John and Hunter, for an unforgettable day on the water!

Fun trip with a fun crew
To start off use there website so you can get a better deal. I would highly recommend if you want to catch something that will put up a fight. They are very helpful if its your firsr time with this type of fishing. The crew was a blast to be around.

Awesome time!
We booked this trip as a special birthday gift for our 13 year old son. We did the 3 hour trip and caught a 70-ish pound sting ray, and THREE 7-8 foot long sharks. I talked about how exciting it would be to catch one big thing, and we got four! Captain John and First Mate Hunter were fantastic. Great communicators and teachers for my son (and me!). We both had a blast and would highly recommend!

Great day on the bay!
My son and I had another great time out on the Bottom Bouncer. Captain John and Hunter are knowledgeable and fun to be around as you catch fish. We caught some big ol’ rays and had a blast! Highly recommended!
