He's been casting his line on the river for years and in that time, he's discovered the most productive fishing grounds it has to offer. King (Chinook) and Silver (Coho) Salmon are the ultimate catch here in August and September, so if you're craving serious fishing action and a tasty meal as a result of your hard work, this is the expedition for you.
Come aboard a 21' Grady White boat with twin 115 HP Yamaha engines and head out to hunt for the biggest Salmon out there. Up to 4 anglers can hit the water on this vessel, and you'll have quality rods, reels, and tackle to fight your catch, as well a live bait well and outriggers.
Capt. Michael will use his knowledge and onboard navigational electronics to find the best bite. When you catch your daily Salmon limit and arrive back on land, your guide will clean and fillet it for you, if you'd like. This way, you'll get to enjoy the fruits of your hard work on your plate!
On your side, you should take care of your fishing license, and pack snacks, drinks, food, and sunscreen. Leave everything else in Capt. Michael's capable hands.

Hands down the best trip My son and i have ever been on. Captain Woodward was amazing with my 11 year old. We caught our limit when other boats never had a net flying. Captain Woodward made my sons summer vacation , He treated him like an amazing father figure and let my son experience an amazing moment while fishing and putting the fish away. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
you guys were amazing, Haiden really went the distance and enjoyed it as much as Ryan and I did. looking forward to many many more fishing trips together. Thank you again.. Mike

I have loved fishing since I was old enough to walk. It's always humbling and amazing to learn new ways of catching fish, and this is one of the reasons I fell in love with it in the first place. I deeply love the Tillamook area and especially the Trask River, which is probably my favorite place to fish. When I take my customers out, I don't look at my watch – I treat every outing as a fun day with friends!
