Your guide for the day, Captain Joe Lyons, has been fishing the waters off the coast of Wildwood, NJ for over 45 years and guiding for 23 years. His charter service is designed for all types of anglers, from beginners to experts, and invites kids of all ages to join in on the fun.
Your vessel for the day is a 30’ Island Hopper pilothouse, powered by a 330 HP Cummins engine. She comes with all the necessary safety gear and top-of-the-line equipment and electronics to ensure a successful and safe ride. Inside, you’ll find a private toilet and a spacious seating area to relax. She also comes with a Bluetooth radio so you can listen to your favorite songs while you fish.
The Atlantic waters off the coast of Wildwood are filled with a wide variety of fish. Capt. Joe will take you trolling for species such as Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Bonito, and Striped Bass, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to bottom fish for Flounder, Triggerfish, Tautog, Black Drum, and Black Seabass.
You’ll be provided with state-of-the-art Penn gear, as well as high-performance lures and live bait. Your fishing license is included as well, so just arrive 15 minutes early and everything else will be taken care of.
After your trip, the crew will also offer to clean and fillet your catch, so you can go home and enjoy a nice savory meal with the family. Everything is covered, so all you need to bring is snacks and drinks and any other personal items you may need for the ride.

Half Day Trip (AM) on July 9, 2024
I took my son and grands out for a morning fishing experience, grands ages 17 a7. It was nice hot and sunny day but wonderful on the water. Capt. Nick and Tim.set up the rods and lures for trolling out at sea. (Out and back to the location about 1 hour each way.) It was great! Everyone pulled in at least 3 Bonito each for a total of 28 fish! They filleted them for us also. Would recommend for a serious morning of fishing but having fun!

Both Nick the Captain and his helper were attentive and made sure we had a great experience. There were 5 of us including my 12 year old Grandson and there was help every time we needed bait or a fish removed. Everybody caught a good number of fish and I hope you consider going out with them on your next fishing trip !

We had a great time with our kids and grandkids. The captain was very helpful to explain everything, the mate was awesome with the grandkids. All of us left the boat with huge smiles, a few bags of fish filets for dinners to enjoy and with memories that will last a lifetime.

Sharks did not disappoint...

The shark fishing was great, the weather was great but had to cut our trip short due to a couple of my kiddos finding out what motion sickness was like... Great time just the same... I would recommend to everyone who wants to Sport Fish, give Tara Anne a call....
