Life Is Good II is a 20' custom offshore sportfishing boat that will take you to all the honey holes in the area. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, so you can expect a smooth ride cruising the deep ocean.
You'll be fishing using live bait, and Capt. Mardeeny will have Daiwa and Shimano rods and reels for you. Trolling is the main fishing technique you'll be using, as well as some bottom fishing and jigging, depending on the season and your target.
These open waters are very rich in nature, so expect to run into a variety of fish species in the area. Depending on the conditions, you can catch a lot of Giant Trevally and Barracuda. The beginning of winter marks the start of the Sailfish season, so this is the time to book an action-packed adventure. Expect to cross paths with Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, and Tuna as well.
Capt. Mardeeny will provide drinks for your refreshment, and you can expect lunch on full day trips. Make sure to bring some sunscreen so that you're able to fully enjoy your time. Depending on how many fish you end up catching, it will be shared between you and the crew. You are free to take some home so you can taste the hard-earned fruits of your labor!

my wife and i enjoyed a half day with this great crew. Captain Amour explained what we would do, where, why and likely fish to target. Well managed and skippered. caught 3 great fish including GT and a personal best barracuda at 1.5m. requested we did not use livebait and this was respected without question. we have another 2 days in Zanzibar and want to book again but definitely next time we are back on this wonderful island

Capt was very amicable and the equipment was good including the boat and rods and reels, etc. We trolled all day and only had one take, but we lost it. We had a very nice lunch, but the fishing was disappointing. I don't blame the Capt and crew. That's how it goes some days.

Poor English, no decent gear, they'd rather make money running tours around Zanzibar instead of fishing, no good catch despite several hours out on the water. Disappointing, wouldn't recommend!
