The vessel you’ll be in is a 26’ River Wild aluminum fishing boat. It can seat up to 6 guests, runs on a 250 HP Yamaha VMAX engine, and uses the most modern GPS and autopilot equipment available. Having the newest and best equipment, electronics, and technology available is key for a successful trip. You won’t have to worry about not being prepared. Your guide will provide everything you need to get you started on the right foot.
The Buoy 10 fishery on the Columbia River is abundant in Chinook Salmon as well as Coho Salmon. You and your guide will target them by trolling, spinning, and jigging, using both light and heavy tackle. Your captain is great with kids so this will be a fun trip for the whole family.
Your guide will take care of all the fishing gear you’ll need. This includes all the tackle and live bait. Dress for the weather, bring a lunch and a valid fishing license and RiverTrek NW will get you on the fish!
