With almost 4 decades of fishing experience under his belt, you can bet that Chris knows a lot about all the best fish hideouts. Whether you're after healthy-sized Cobia, an impressive number of Speckled Trout, or trophy Redfish, your guide will know exactly where to take you. Then it's your time to come face to gills with your prey and reel it in.
Your fishing platform is 25' Contender with a 300 HP Yamaha engine and more than enough room to sit up to 6 anglers. You'll find quality fishing gear on board, and reliable navigational electronics will show you where to cast your line. The boat is well-suited for lake trips, as well as inshore and nearshore fishing.
Whatever you catch, Capt. Chris will clean and fillet it, so that you can enjoy it as soon as you come back from your exciting day on the water. It's up to you to buy a valid fishing license before you meet up with the captain, and prepare some food and drinks, you'll get snacky from all that reeling.
Kids will have a great time fishing with you and it's best if they're 4 and older, so that they can fully enjoy themselves. After that, all you have to do is have fun with Sabine Outdoors and catch some great fish!

Four of my friends and I had the privilege of fishing with Captain Chris Phillips today and he did not disappoint. This was my second trip with Captain Phillips and he has been fantastic on both trips. He is knowledgeable about the area, polite, professional, equipment is squared away, and he is very accommodating to the various needs of his clients. Captain Phillips is one of the hardest working guides I have ever fished with and he puts you on fish. Today, we caught redfish, trout, and sheepshead as the primary species and came away with plenty of fish for everyone to take home. If you are looking for a guided fishing trip in the Port Arthur / Sabine Pass area then Captain Phillips should be your guide. I highly recommend that you give him a chance to give you a great inshore fishing experience. I will be booking future trips with Captain Phillips and cannot speak highly enough about his conduct as a guide and his ability to give his clients a great fishing experience! Josh
Capt. Chris Phillips is an outstanding fishing guide! He worked hard all day to put my family on fish. He is great with young anglets and a pro with the adults. Chris was awesome. He was very patient especially with our 8-year-old son. He knew the waters and every stop we caught something. We went home with several Red Fish and a Drum Head. We would definitely book with him again.

Captain Chris was awesome. He kept the lines baited, the anglers cared for, and went the extra miles to make sure each angler caught a variety of fish. His fishing knowledge and understanding of the lake and conditions were very impressive, matched only by the efficiency and speed of cleaning and delivering nice filets for the catch. My family and I had the best day on the water today. Captain Chris had us on fish all day and everyone catching (3 kiddos included). We ended with our limit of trout, along with many throwbacks, jack, sharks, and almost a triple tail. Knowledgeable, personable and a true professional. We will be booking again this week for a September trip! Highly recommend!
