Big Ben Sport Fishing And Charters 27' 

We had the perfect half day booked through Big Ben fishing. Our captain, Jose, picked us up at the Zihua dock and we headed out to White Rock where we had a Bonito on the line within 15 minutes. We then headed out further and got onto a couple of schools of black fin tuna which were such fun to catch and bring in, non-stop action! We also got a Jack Cravelle. Just a great day topped off by seeing a pod of dolphins putting on a spectacular show as well as a Humpback whale on the way home. Jose and his son were wonderful hosts and sure know how to find the fish. Thanks for the best day!!

Fantastic Captain and Crew. Never lost a bite! My Sailfish was so big, it ripped the reel off the rod after about 20 minutes of reeling. The Captain fixed the situation on the fly and we got the fish in the boat after about 35 minutes! Wonderful day. Will definitely be doing it again!

Had a long day on the water but if it wasn’t for Gustavo’s skill and determination we wouldn’t have hooked up on a fantastic fish to fight and reel in.. Great Day.

Ben, Captain Jose and his first mate were great! Very accommodating. Only issue I can address is the seat cushions were almost non existent. If the trip was shorter it wouldn't be bad. But after about 4 1/2 - 5 hours sitting, it got uncomfortable. Besides that we caught and ate the fish, and had a good time.

My wife and I did a full day charter with Big Bens and had an excellent time. From Ben getting us from and back to our hotel to getting us extras for our trip. The day on the water with captain Jose and his mate Jose was excellent, nice boat , gear, fishing the captain spoke very good English and worked the gear very hard to get us on our fish. A must to experience a trip with Big Bens and captain Jose.

Everything with Big Ben’s was awesome. From my first conversation with Ben, fishing with captain Jose, to our return to our hotel, was organized, with no surprises. We caught some Bonita for bait, then landed 2 beautiful sailfish. We will definitely use Big Ben on our next trip to Ixtapa. Thank you all

My two sons and I had a great half day of fishing. Caught mostly (large) needle fish, maybe 10 pounds or so. Also caught small mahi-mahi and bonito. Big Ben picked us up in a taxi and accompanied us to the fishing pier and his boat where captain Juan then took us out to the fishing grounds. Overall we paid for a half day but I felt as if we stayed out longer which was ok by us. Would recommend Big Ben and his fishing crew.

Fished with Big Ben yesterday. He picked me up from hotel on time. We got to dock and were one of first on water. Boat captain was great and had worked with Ben for 25 years. Had a knockout day of fishing!!! We had 5 fish before 9am. In all, we hooked 11 sailfish and landed 9 by 1pm. Captain kept one fish that didn't survive and provided me with fillets. Captain spoke good English and was fun. Boat was clean. Rods and reels were good. Boat was basic but had ample ice, water, non private head, shade and comfortable seating. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone who likes to catch fish. We were on fish all day long. I have fished in Costa, Guatemala, Cabo, Punta Mita and this was best day of action I have had in 20 years.

In shore live bait for rooster, no bites. No fish but great sight seeing trip. Jose was great Capt. Boat was in need of repairs. Ben was very helpful in setting up trip.
