During your trip, you’ll target primarily Lake Trout and Yellow Perch on Lake George. Capt. Tyler focuses on jigging, which is one of the best ways to catch these fish. He’s also using state of the art fish finding electronics and underwater cameras. Lake Trout fishing is done in deeper water and you’ll probably move often throughout the day to stay on productive water.
All transportation to and from fishing grounds is done on a “chariot” towed behind an ATV. Perch fishing is done in a comfortable heated shelter nearby. It’s a great family experience and also a very productive time – catching over 100 fish is not unusual.
All tackle, bait, and gear is supplied, so there’s no need to worry about it. There is plenty of room on the “chariot” to pack any additional beverages, food, or equipment you would like to bring. A grill and stovetop are available for cooking if you would like to bring your own food or contact the captain to arrange catering at an additional cost. Make sure to purchase your fishing license in advance.
