Bay Reef Charters welcomes you aboard for amazing fishing in beautiful St. Petersburg! Captain Dmitri caters to both novice and experienced anglers of all ages, for memorable trips under the Florida sun.
Your boat for the day will be a brand new 26' C-Hawk. She can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably, and comes equipped Simrad electronics, live wells for bait, and an i-Pilot trolling unit.
If you choose to explore the backcountry and flats, you’ll be fishing for Snook and Redfish. Head further out to bottom fish for a variety of Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel, or troll for Kingfish.
Feel free to store any snacks and refreshments you’d like to enjoy during the trip in the onboard icebox. Capt. Dmitri will clean and fillet all your tasty catch.

Great Captain with Tried and True Strategy
Captain Dmitri was great. He tried a new spot earlier on which turned into my daughter catching an amazing, huge puffer fish. We tried his 2nd go to spot and caught trout and ladyfish. Right next to this spot was floating weeds with tons of bait. We had multiple large mackerels jumping everywhere and landed one but broke off on two large ones. The last spot we caught 4 more trout, had baits bit and half and drag scream out. This was just in less than 2 hours with 13 fish caught and some big ones that got away! My daughter and I loved it and captain Dmitri was awesome!

Great trip!!
Captain Dmitri is a stand up guy and a great captain! We started the morning chasing some fish up in the flats, he had us in the right spot for sure! Seeing multiple 40”+ snook cruising the flats but a hard morning to get a bite ( from the look of the boats around us it wasn’t just us) the captain did a great job of working it and keeping us moving to find the fish, if something wasn’t working he was quick to change strategies and locations working hard to put us on fish which paid off, we ended up in the bay putting some great trout in the boat! Finished the day up running around the bay to a few spots picking up nice groupers and bottom fish, overall the captain did a great job, was engaged and felt like a day fishing out with a friend. 10/10 would recommend

Best Capt in Clearwater/St Pete/Tampa!
To start, Capt D made sure to head out before the trip to stock up on fresh live bait. We ran into some finicky fish all day but that didn’t stop us from catching. Took a couple spots before they cooperated better and we had bent rod after bent rod. Capt D helped us cross off a ton of bucket list fish, especially with some nice snook and a jack, plus we got lucky and stumbled across a founder, barracuda and even a nice pompano for the table. Capt D made the trip unbelievably fun and made sure we were satisfied the entire day. We’re already talking about the possibility making a summer trip so we can fish with Capt D again. Can’t thank you enough, it was an awesome day and highly recommend everyone use Bay Reef Charters!

Great day on the water
I wanted to share that we had a great time fishing with Dmitri. He was very knowledgeable about the local fish, the best bait to use, and the prime fishing spots. Everyone from the youngest at age 8, to the oldest at 58, caught a lot of fish. The weather was perfect for a day on the water, and everyone had a fantastic time reeling in the fish and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Best regards, Julie V

Awesome trip
Captain Dmitri was awesome! Took us to catch multiple types of fish and helped all of my kids bait cast and hold their catches. He even cleaned our keepers for us. Will definitely book another trip with him when we are in the area!
