Wild Pacific Charters - Knot 2 Wild
Wild Pacific Charters operates out of Ucluelet, BC, running full day fishing trips targeting big Chinook Salmon and even bigger Halibut in the remote Pacific waters off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Owner and operator Captain Alan Boyd has been fishing these waters his entire life, and knows the best spots and the best techniques for landing these huge coldwater predators.
You will spend the day aboard Captain Alan’s 32’ Grady White Marlin 300. Built in 2006, this tough and reliable vessel was specifically designed for a life of hard service and heavy-duty fishing. At 32’ long, she can easily accommodate groups of five anglers, and will provide a solid fishing platform for pulling in even the feistiest fish.
The vessel comes equipped with Raymarine GPS and fishfinder, Scotty downriggers, and tournament-grade tackle to make sure you always have the upper hand. She also boasts a comfortable interior with an enclosed head for extra convenience on long trips.
Ucluelet is famous for its Salmon and Halibut fishing, and rightly so. The town offers access to some of the finest fishing grounds for these species in the world. On a clear day, you can head out as far as 25 miles in search of the biggest fish the ocean has to offer. Even in bad weather, you can head into the Barkley Sound and enjoy great Salmon fishing and whale watching.
All Wild Pacific Charters trips come with tackle, lures, and a cleaning and filleting service for all your catch. Captain Alan has been running charters in the area for over 20 years, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you don’t leave empty-handed. So grab your license and your camera and get ready for an amazing fishing trip! Canadian tax is already included in the price.
