Rockstar Sport Fishing is all about having fun!
We catch fish plain and simple.
Rockstar Sport Fishing is based out of historic New Port Richey, FL and fishes all along Pasco County’s Coast from the Anclote River on the southern end, and as far north as Hernando Beach. Captain Tom, loves sharing his passion for fishing and local knowledge with people from all walks of life. From kids and beginners to seasoned anglers. We offer something for everyone.
The captain’s boat is a 236 Robalo with enough room to accommodate 3 anglers fishing at the same time.
The different trips offered by Rockstar Sportfishing will allow everyone to find an adventure that suits their needs.
Generally, shorter trips will allow you to get a taste of the local fishery and see what’s biting. On the other hand, if you’re after a specific fish, you’d get the best shot at it on longer trips.
All necessary equipment will be provided.
Also included in the price of the trip are the fishing licenses and bait, which is either bought or caught by the capt.
Kids of all ages are welcome, however, life jackets are only provided for adults. Youth life jackets are not supplied. Please notify the captain ahead of time of the ages of all passengers.
Don’t want to deal with fish cleaning!? We got you covered – it’s included in the price!
We strive to make every trip a safe, great, and memorable one, so please be specific when talking with the captain about what you would like to do. We are there for you!

Kids Fishing Experience
Best kid friendly captain in Florida
Captain Tom was amazing! We brought our 4 year old son, and Captain Tom was better than we could have ever wished for. Our son was able to use Star Wars fishing pole to catch many fish. He also had many other rods set up for us to use, including a shark rod. We caught quite a few mangrove snapper, grunts, a puffer fish and a shark. We had an absolute blast and cannot wait to come back and fish with Captain Tom!

My grandson and his papaw had a great and caught quite a few fish, they caught blowfish, mackerel, grunts, trout, and my grandson even caught a SHARK 🦈, THEY REALLY LOVED THEIR TRIP, AND WILL DO IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE...

Excellent Day on The Water
I had family in town from Arkansas looking to get out on the water and catch some Florida fish. I contacted Tom and he was awesome about making time to get us on his boat. He was very knowledgeable about the "good spots" and really helped make this a memorable trip for myself and my family. Tom knows the area very well, and he goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone on the boat is having a great experience. My family will be back next summer and they are already talking about how they can't wait to get back out there do some fishing with Tom again!
