Redemptional Fishing And Outdoors invites you to spend your weekend fishing the productive waters of Canyon Lake! With experienced Captain Matthew Hathaway at the helm, you’ll not only enjoy plenty of fishing battles, but also learn new angling tricks.
Join your captain on his 19’ bass boat that sports a 200 HP Verado Mercury engine and all the necessary equipment for a successful fishing day. Capt. Matthew will work his magic with fishfinder to find your prey and provide you with quality rods, reels, and lures to use. Up to 3 anglers can come aboard and fish comfortably all day.
Your guide is a Multi-Species fisherman, and he makes it his business to locate the best fishing holes in the Austin area and beyond. On Canyon Lake, you can find Largemouth, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, and Catfish in all shapes and sizes. Before your trip, the captain will see what you prefer to catch and via seasonal patterns, decide what to target.
This charter is also very kid-friendly, so you can take your children fishing with you. The minimum age for the littles one is 5 years, and the captain will have life jackets for them.
There’s only a couple of things you need to come fully prepared for your trip – a fishing license, as well as plenty of drinks, snacks, and food to last the day. You can leave everything fishing-related in Capt. Matthew’s professional hands, he will customize your adventure to your level of expertise.

Awesome evening of fishing with Family!
AsNovice/Beginner fresh water fishermen,Matthew was great at not only putting us on the fish, but also being patient with us as we did all the wrong the things. :) My son landed his PB large mouth bass and we brought another 10 or so into the boat. Overall, highly recommend.

Great trip!
We went to lake Dunlap and Matthew was a great guide. He helped teach the kids how to be better anglers. We caught lots of Bass and our kids really enjoyed it!

Fun trip patient guide
One of the first ever guides that would sit down and teach you how to fish. I’ve been fishing for years, wife is pretty good but could use some help. Matthew was so patient and knowledgeable, you’ll definitely learn to at least cast with him. He is the bass master, I wanted a Striper but they wouldn’t cooperate, but the large mouth and small mouth were everywhere. Honestly when Matthew said well got get some large mouth, I didn’t know we’d find them that quickly. Will definitely be booking again

Half Day Bass Fishing
Mathew was fantastic! I knew it was going to be tough with the heat, but he absolutely worked his tail off. We found fish every stop we went and casted until our arms fell off! While it wasn't the numbers we wanted, I learned so much info and because a better all around fisherman! The water was beautiful, the scenery, was beautiful, and while catching more fish would be ideal, you can't make fish bite that aren't hungry! Would definitely book again!
