Special-Eyes Charters offers a variety of fishing trips that cater to all ages and skill levels. Captains Dale Grimm and John Lesniewski Jr. are both locals who've been fishing the Great Lakes their whole lives. While on board, you can expect knowledgable and friendly guides who know where to go to put you on the fish of your dreams.
You'll be fishing from a 30' Cherokee offshore sportfisher, equipped with state-of-the-art navigation, fishing tackle, and amenities. She's powered by twin 300 HP Crusader engines and comes with outriggers, downriggers, and a private toilet. She can fit up to 6 guests and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time.
Walleye is your main target species but you'll also have the chance to go after other freshwater game fish, such as Rainbow Trout and Yellow Perch. Whether you'd like to cast, jig, or troll, your trip can be customized to best fit your preferences. Your captains will work hard to put you on fish and make sure you're having an amazing time on the water.
You'll be provided with top-quality rods, reels, bait, and lures. Just be sure to pick up a fishing license before your trip and everything else will be taken care of. It's also a good idea to pack a few extra layers of clothing in case it gets windy and feel free to bring some snacks and drinks for the ride as well.

My name is Captain Dale Grimm – the captain and owner of Special-Eyes Charters. I've been fishing since a very young age, as have all of the captains that work for me on our 4 boats. We all have over 30 years of experience, fishing the Walleye Capital of the World, Lake Erie. We take a great deal of pride in showing our customers a fun, memorable, and educational day on the water. All captains are USCG-licensed and have their Ohio Guides Licenses as well. The captains are Dale Grimm (Special-Eyes 1), Ron Bradway (Special-Eyes 2), Dan Hrabak (Special-Eyes 3), and Bob Balli (Special-Eyes 4). How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
