If you’re in the market for a day to remember, look no further than Latitude 44 Charters. With Captain Terry at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Species like Burbot, Lake Trout, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your boat for the day is a 26’ Angler Quest pontoon with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Please, make sure to bring a cooler for the fish that you plan on taking home.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t leave home without sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Best fishing trip ever
Terry was professional and he knows his craft. I would highly recommend him for charter fishing. He has so much knowledge when it comes to what areas to fish in. His first mate Cheryl was a great help also. We can't wait to come back and book with Terry again . He is down to earth and is very accommodating .

Overall Good Time
Overall my family and I had a good time with Captain Terry and his right hand Frank. They were both very pleasant. It was a nice cruise, beautiful boat, and I was able to put on my own playlist. I did get sick on the boat and they were both very accommodating, we ended up ending our trip 1 hour early because of this. Unfortunately we did not catch any fish. Captain Terry mentioned that since it was so many vessels on the water (due to the cherry festival) that probably scared the fish away. It would have been nice to catch something but I understand that’s fishing, it’s hit or miss. Overall it was a good time.

Terry is a good guy, with a big ol boat and tons of top notch gear
Terry worked his ass off, top notch Captain. He has intimate knowledge of lake michigan, and an honest passion for fishing. Highly recommended. His boat is very comfortable (currently a Angler Qwest). Motor is SUPER QUIET, yet very powerful for maneuvering to locations quickly. He has a bunch of pre-rigged poles, so more time can be spent fishing. Thanks Capt Terry.
