At Over Under Outfitters, they’ve been fishing the Matagorda Bay Complex for most of their lifetime and know about the connection that can occur when a man goes out on the water. If you’re looking for an adventure, trying to upgrade your personal best catch, or just trying to fill up your freezer, book your trip and they’ll help you along the way.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Black Drum, and whatever else takes the bait. For these species, you’re likely to cast a popping cork using light tackle. You’ll be casting lines from a 24’ Bay boat with space for 5 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Kids are welcome aboard.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Don’t forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

4 Hour Trip – Drift Fishing
Wonderful Experience
We went out with Capt Jordan for my son’s first trip out on the bay. Even with a windy morning we were able to catch a few keepers and my son had a memorable experience! Jordan was professional, he was amazing teaching my son how to cast and took the time to explain everything. We would 100% recommend him to any others looking.

Half day trip with Captain Jordan
Captain Jordan showed up right on time , He made sure sure we were all ready to go double check with us if anyone needed anything before we pushed off. He was very familiar with the waterways and did a great job getting us to our different fishing holes. Although the wind was not cooperating and the water conditions were not the best. He did everything he could to put us on fish. I would highly recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to take another trip with captain Jordan thank you for making our father’s Day. A great o one!!
