Hook’d Up Charters Inshore & Nearshore Guided tours to include Sunset Hop aboard for a new fishing adventure with Hook’d Up Charters and Captain Jeff Jenkins! Discover the productive inshore and offshore fishing of Eastern Florida with your local guide, who will use his angling expertise to make sure you have an amazing time on the water.
Join Capt. Jeff on his 22’ bay boat that is well-suited for different fishing conditions and can take out up to 4 people. The vessel is equipped with up-to-date navigational electronics to ensure you have the smoothest ride and get to the fishing grounds quickly and safely. There’s a live bait well on board, as well as a trolling motor to help you sneak up to your catch.
You’ll use quality Shimano light tackle for your inshore trips, and Penn and Shimano gear for offshore fishing. If you’d like to do some fly fishing, the captain can provide the equipment, or you can bring your own. A variety of lures and live bait are included in the price, as is your fishing license.
Capt. Jeff runs inshore and offshore trips that are fun for all levels of anglers. On the inshore excursions, you’ll fish the Indian River in search of Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Snook, and much more. If you pick an offshore trip, you’re looking at the possibility to hook Mahi Mahi, a variety of Snapper and Grouper, and King Mackerel. For the ultimate angling challenge, target feisty Sailfish and acrobatic Tarpon.
Whatever you decide to keep, your guide is happy to clean and fillet after you come back to land. Capt. Jeff’s trips are family-friendly and he loves teaching kids how to catch their first fish. It’s recommended that the little ones be at least 6 years old to join you on the trip, life jackets for them will be provided. All you need to bring is sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and maybe some snacks.

Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM)
Great Fishing Trip!!!
Let me start off by saying that Captain Jeff is awesome! He knows the area because he was born and raised here which is a plus! He has fished these waters his whole life. What more could you ask for in a guide! He is super freindly and accommodating. For a person that has never fished the species. He taught me the do’s and don’ts and how to land the fish properly! He also had some great recommendations for restaurants that cook your catch so he knows the area well. I highly recommend this charter and Captain Jeff I will definitely be fishing with him again when I visit Vero Beach! And a plus he is a Big Jimmy Buffett fan and plays his music! My only regret…we did a half day instead of a whole day! Thank You Captain Jeff for a great fishing trip!

Great day on the water
Fishing with Jeff Jenkins in Vero Beach was a fantastic experience, especially for the kids. We spent the day inshore, exploring the calm waters and casting lines near the mangroves. Jeff was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and engaging with the kids, making the trip both fun and educational. The variety of fish we caught was impressive—mangrove snapper, snook, catfish, jack, and even some black drum. The excitement on the kids’ faces with every catch made the day unforgettable. Awesome Day
Jeff was an excellent Captain- very patient and kind. It's hard to know what you are getting when you book on-line blindly looking through different captains and boats. We hit the jack pot with Jeff. He is a local who has been doing this for years and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He put us on the fish, gave our party as much or as little assistance as they wanted. We saved his number and will defiantly book again.
