Reconnect with nature and spend a few days in Driftwood Wilderness Lodge! Located in Kodiak Island, Alaska, the lodge is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, clean air, and clear water. This place is a DIY project of Nick Blanco, who’s been a fishing enthusiast since he was a kid. The construction of the whole building process was filmed for the tv show “Building Alaska.” If you’re interested in knowing how all of this came to life, watch the show and then join Capt. Nick in this beautiful wilderness.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 30’ Stelzar Cabin motorboat. This vessel accommodates up to 6 anglers, with enough space for all of them to fish at the same time. She has everything you need regarding the equipment to have a successful day on the water.
Captain Nick will meet you at the Larsen Bay airport and take you to the lodge. You’ll spend 7–10 hours of fishing each day and target freshwater Steelhead or saltwater Salmon, Halibut, and Lingcod. After the trip, the captain will clean your catch and prepare it for your next meal.
The accommodation is all-inclusive, meaning you’ll also be covered with 3 meals per day, WiFi, private rooms, and fishing equipment. If you’re a fan of alcoholic beverages, you’ll need to prepare them in advance because there are no liquor shops in Larsen Bay. Kids under 5 can come for free, while kids under 18 can join for half the price.
Driftwood Wilderness Lodge is a perfect way to enjoy nature with your family and friends. Catch some great fish on the way and experience this amazing getaway!
