Taking a trip with AMI Sportfishing Charters means you’re in good hands for your day out! Captain Austin has been fishing these waters ever since he could hold a rod. This isn’t just a job for him, it’s a way of living. There’s no fish in this area he doesn’t know how to catch. Just pick a target and see it for yourself.

You’ll be fishing aboard his 26’ Offshore Stapleton boat that accommodates up to 6 anglers. She’s powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine and features the latest navigational electronics. The boat also has two live bait tanks and a cooler for your catch. During offshore trips, you’ll be accompanied by first mate as well, who’s going to set up your equipment and show you the best ways to use it.

The trips take place in the waters near beautiful Anna Maria Island. Capt. Austin offers a wide variety of fishing adventures, depending on where you want to go and how long you want to stay. The main targets for the day are Redfish, Snook, Trout, Tarpon, Cobia, Kingfish, Grouper, Snapper, and Sharks.

All fishing equipment, tackle, and licenses are Included. If you want to go fly fishing, make sure to bring your own equipment and notify the captain in advance. Bring your food, drinks, hats, and sunglasses.

AMI Sportfishing Charters welcomes all anglers of any experience level. Pick a trip and catch your trophy today!

6 Hour Trip – Offshore on August 27, 2024

Booked a trip with Captain Austin and will never book with someone else again. We caught many different species and had plenty of opportunity to catch fish during what is considered the slow season for fishing. Austin went to great lengths to put me and my buddy on some fish. He’s a great captain and a great guy. I’ve had many complaints about other charter captains but not Austin, by far best charter I’ve been on.Would highly recommend, as I said, I will no longer book with anyone else.

Captain Austin is easily the best. Been fortunate to have fished many charters, and AMI Sportsfishing Charters stood out. Captain Austin is very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and a great personality. We got on the fish right away in less than ideal conditions. No messing around getting bait fish during your trip. Captain Austin comes prepared with live bait in the livewell. Don't waste your time trying to compare AMI Sportsfishing to other charters, they are simply the best.

Captain Austin has been fishing since he was 3 years old and got his first boat at only 8 years old. It just felt natural to him. He started with tournaments and switched to guiding fishing trips. He likes spreading his knowledge and experience, letting people who don't get to fish every day to see what they do there in Florida. Likes to show them the scenery and the fish. Captain Austin has very a versatile approach to fishing and he practices different techniques.
