Join Funfish Charters on an unforgettable journey through the Everglades. Captain Mike Flowers offers a wide range of techniques, targeting some of Florida’s most sought-after species. He welcomes all skill levels to check out one of the most protected and untouched fisheries in the US!
You’ll be fishing from a 24’ SeaHunter center console, perfect for flats and inshore waters. At the same time, this boat provides enough stability to venture out into deeper territory, making it possible to increase your target range. She also comes with the latest Garmin navigational electronics, a wireless trolling motor, fishing tackle, and safety gear.
Capt. Mike enjoys taking families out on the water and teaching kids how to fish. The boat accommodates up to 4 guests and children of all ages are welcome aboard, however, the recommended ages are 6 and up.
Some of your target species for the day include Snook, Cobia, Barracuda, Goliath Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Spotted Seatrout. You’ll try out several techniques, such as trolling, drifting, or bottom fishing to target different fish and see which one reaps the most results.
When it’s all said and done, Capt. Mike will offer to clean and fillet your catch. After all, there’s nothing more rewarding than being able to have the fresh catch-of-the-day after a long day of fishing. Especially when you’re the one who caught the fish!
Your fishing license is included in the price as well, so no need to purchase one on your own. Top-notch Penn and Shimano rods and reels are also available on board, so you don’t have to lug your own equipment around. Just remember to pack sun protection, snacks and drinks, and any other personal items you may need for the ride.
