Captain Mike, a proud Texas City native, has spent his life fishing the bountiful waters of the Galveston Bay complex. With decades of experience, his expert knowledge of local fish patterns ensures that you’ll be on the fish every time you hit the water. Specializing in artificial lures, Captain Mike has earned a reputation for landing trophy-sized Trout and Redfish, but if you prefer live bait, it’s available upon request (customer is responsible for reimbursement).
When you fish with Captain Mike, you can relax knowing he’s committed to making your experience both enjoyable and successful. Any catch you make will be immediately placed on ice or in a live well, ensuring it’s fresh and ready for cleaning at the end of your trip.
Your journey begins aboard a 21’7" Kenner bay boat, equipped with everything you need for a perfect day on the water. The boat accommodates up to four guests and is outfitted with navigational electronics, safety gear, a powerful 150 HP Mercury engine, and a live bait tank. You’ll target the "Texas Big Three" — Redfish, Flounder, and Speckled Trout — all found inshore, so you won’t need to venture far from the coast to find the action. Most of the fishing is done with light tackle and drift fishing techniques, ensuring an exciting and hands-on experience.
All you need to bring is sun protection, snacks, and drinks to keep your energy up while you reel in the big ones. Don’t forget to purchase your Texas saltwater fishing license before the trip — available online or at most local retailers like Walmart or Academy.

Special 3 hour trip for Erick Falcon
Don't hesitate to book!
Overall the fishing trip was great, no complaints. Michael Bullock worked with me on time scheduling which i greatly appreciate. He replys to questions you have via app or text very fast. He had the boat ready to go in the water when we got there. He was very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing. Boat and equipment are top notch, at least to someone like me with little fishing experience. Booked this trip mainly for my 7 and 11 year old daughters and so I could learn a bit which I did. We caught plenty of fish but were only able to keep 3 due to the size and only booking a 3hr trip. I am by no means complaining about this i booked with the attitude that we may catch nothing to keep. Everyone wants to catch their limit but it's like baseball to me nobody hits a homerun everytime. Mike handled all the bait and casting for my daughters as advertised. Taught me how to cast using his style reel. The entire trip was as advertised. Daughters loved the fast boat ride and we all had a great time fishing. Will definitely be booking with him again. Thanks Mike!

Bad conditions, great fishing
We were dealt a bad deal from Mother Nature, windy and a little rain. Capt Mike did a LT Dan and we went fishing! Couldn’t get to the “good spot” so we fished the “crappy spots” and caught fish at every spot, black and red drums, tons of trout and all the saltwater catfish, even a sting ray! We didn’t keep anything as we were flying out early the next morning but if we did, we would be eating like kings. If these were the back up spots, I would love to fish the good spots on a calm day. Will definitely fish with Capt Mike again if I’m in the area! He really put in the effort and time to get us on the fish!

Awesome 5-Hour Fishing Charter! Highly Recommend
My old college roommate and I had an amazing time on our 5-hour fishing charter! Despite the cold weather, Captain Mike kept the energy high and spirits up throughout the entire trip. He was not only friendly and personable, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters. We could tell he really knew his stuff and was committed to making sure we had a great time. The captain took us to several spots, and while the weather wasn’t ideal, we still managed to land a great number of red fish. His patience and persistence paid off, and we were thrilled with the catch. At the end of the trip, Captain Mike made sure to clean the fish thoroughly, and we left the dock with a wonderful food recommendation and a great story for the books. We couldn’t have asked for a better charter. If you’re looking for a fun, professional, and memorable fishing trip, I highly recommend booking with Captain Mike! We’ll definitely be back!

Mike does a great job! He works hard to put you on fish. I just had a kidney transplant and a heart attack and he took great care of me and my family out on the water. We caught trout, redfish and black drum. We are definitely coming back! Thanks again Mike!

Great Afternoon!
We had such a great time on the water! We caught several fish and really enjoyed the entire experience. Captain Michael was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone was having fun. He took us to some great fishing spots and provided everything we needed.
