Join Captain Mike on a 23' custom boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. The design of this boat makes it perfect for shallow backcountry, lagoons, and flats you'll visit. The boat is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio to help you find the fish more easily. There's no shade on the boat, so make sure to bring your hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Sunglasses are important for another reason – since you'll be fly fishing, a hawk eye is crucial. You'll go after Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Ladyfish, and Snook – all these fish easily blend with the surroundings, so it can be hard to spot them even in these shallow waters. Once you spot the fish, you'll need to throw the bait at the precise spot. This takes a little practice and patience but it pays off.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered and the captain also prepares soft drinks, beer, and snacks. You can always bring something of your choice as well. Your fishing license is covered, so there's no need to purchase it on your own.

The guides were incredibly fun and knowledgeable, and I strongly believe they were the sole reason for the success of the trip. I gained a lot of knowledge about the wildlife in the region, and casting techniques that helped me find success during the trip. As a guide from Colorado, I would recommend fly fishing uno mas to anyone, and upon returning to Cozumel, without a doubt, I will be doing this trip again!

Half Day Trip on February 13, 2024 • 2 adultsIt was a good trip. I caught one snook, but had another six or seven good bites. The fish were really tight to the mangroves, so lots of seaweed and snags to hang on. I asked to only do spincasting. I also caught a couple of Jacks. I was supposed to go fishing on a Tuesday but the wind got up and the port was close support and I didn’t get to go till the Friday, but they took care of everything. It worked for me.

Every fish because the captain was more worried about training or joking around with his buddy then looking for fish. I’m a guide and I know what effort and attention to your client looks like. This was far from it. Very unfortunate day. No fault of weather or rough seas it was the captains complete lack of care and desire to try.

Full Day Trip on August 7, 2020 • 3 adultsFirst, if you are not an expert fly fisherman then bone fishing is not for you. very difficult to catch unless you can cast a dry fly 30ft into the wind. virtually impossible. not only did we spend $500 US but we only caught a few very small barracuda with lures. very hot, very windy. 8 hours and only saw a handful of bone fish. Plan on not catching fish and then if you happen to catch one you feel fortunate. not for kids at all.

We told Trevor that conditions were not going to be great tor today's trip, -but he wanted to go out anyway We decided to accommodate Trevor's wish to go fishing even though the conditions were rainy and windy. -We won't do that again..We would rather cancel a trip than to have disgruntled clients!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
