What could be better than a day spent on a bay fishing trip along one of the best fisheries on the Texas coast? Captain Jared has been fishing these waters since he was a kid and is the right man to help you enjoy this beautiful area.
Your vessel for the day will be a 25’ Majek bay boat, a wonderful craft not just for fishing but for cruising in style. It was originally built in 2019 and has a 250HP Yamaha engine which will take you to exhilarating speeds of up to 53 knots and get you to the best fishing spots in no time. It’s also equipped with fishfinder technology and with 2 live bait wells. Alternatively, you may go out on Capt. Jared’s airboat which is 20’ long and 8’ wide. The captain chooses the boat you’ll go on based on fishing conditions, making sure you have the right vessel to provide you with the most productive trip.
Capt. Jared specializes in inshore fishing meaning you’ll be chasing after fish such as Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, and Speckled Seatrout. You’ll be trying out different techniques including drifting, using live bait, lures, and fly fishing. Fly fishing must be requested in advance, is for up to 3 anglers, and comes with an additional charge.
Quality rods and reels, as well as fresh live bait, will be waiting for you on board. You’ll also be provided with bottled water so just pack some food, any beverages besides water (no glass), sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. You’re welcome to bring a small cooler for your drinks. After your trip, Capt. Jared will clean your catch so you can get it grilled at one of the nearby restaurants or take it home for a tasty dinner.
Once you’ve confirmed your booking and packed your gear you’ll be enjoying some of the best fishing available on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
The Texas mid-coast offers plenty of fish in plenty of sizes. Book your trip today!

As a young kid all of my summers were spent in the Rockport, Aransas Pass and Port Aransas area. Fishing and watching as how the area changes and grows in and out of the water has been an amazingly fun challenge to work with.
