You may think fishing in Florida is confined to the coastal waters. However, just south of Orlando, you can experience great fishing on Lake Tohopekaliga.
Captain Bill and his team will be waiting for you in his Ranger bass boat. This elegant little craft is perfect for gliding across the lake's gentle waters. It's got fishfinder equipment and an onboard cooler with ice to keep your drinks cool in the afternoon heat.
Lake Tohopekaliga has plenty of Largemouth Bass for you to reel in. Captain Bill is a lifelong Bass fisherman and knows every trick in the book to help get you some catches. He's well-supplied in light tackle and has Penn rods and Abu Garcia reels which make for a great kit when taking on the Bass.
You'll be fishing with lures on this trip, but live bait can also be provided upon request. Captain Bill provides bottled water for his fellow fishermen but feels free to take your drinks with you and some food. You'll need to book your Florida fishing license beforehand, which is available to purchase online.
Apart from that, you're all set for a fabulous day targeting Largemouth Bass and maybe even some tasty Crappie as a little bonus on this relaxed trip to the lake.

it isnt ideal to head out in 40 degree weather to bass fish in florida. water temp was 52! Thats my luck when i plan a trip but we didnt let that stop us!…capt was still able to find some fish! we caught close to 10 bass and a couple chain pickerel (new species for me) we all made the most of the brutal wet cold winds that were blowing through every layer of clothing we had on and had some great conversations about fishing capt was bery knowledgeable and even offered up some tips that i plan to try in my local lakes. looking forward to another trip with more favorable conditions.
