Ewing Charters
Ewing charters invite you to enjoy a fun and productive day of fishing on East Lake Ontario. They’re based in Henderson Harbor, New York which is a freshwater fishery known as the ‘Golden Crescent’. On your day of fishing you will be with Capt. Tom Ewing, a USCG Licensed Captain. He brings over 30 years of experience on the big lake and knows the hot spots to get you on the fish.
Ewing Charters operates the ‘Silver Bullet’. This is a 26’ Penn Yann Fisherman boat with a 10’ beam to give you all the space to catch the big fish. The ‘Silver Bullet’ is powered by a 370 HP custom built gas motor and rigged with finders and navigational electronics.
The species on that you will target on the lake is dependent on the season. You will be targeting Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Salmon from May until September. Walleye in May threw mid June and August threw September. Northern Pike and Pickerel in May and June. Smallmouth Bass can be caught from from June 15th to the end of September.
Included on your trip are all the rods, reels, tackle, and our complimentary fish cleaning service. You will need to purchase an NYS fishing license if you are age 16 or older. Bring your snacks and drinks along with a cooler for the end of the day to take your catch home. A first mate is also on board to make your trip more enjoyable.
