Bry The FIsh Guy Guide Service runs fishing trips in the crystal clear waters out and around the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior. Choose between a half day and a full day trip and how far you want to go, sit back and relax and get ready to reel in that fish of a lifetime!
Aboard Glaucus (named after the sea god of rescue) your captain’s 24’ Wellcraft Sportsman that accommodates up to 4 anglers. Being powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, this boat will get you to any fishing spot smoothly and dry with the canvases down. Fully equipped with Garmin State of the art navigational electronics, radar, fish locators, Livescope, Cannon electronic Downriggers, and everything needed for a successful day of fishing.
The seasons and weather take a big part in what you’ll be able to target, so it’s best to get in touch with the captain and see what you can expect for the day you’re planning to come. Some of the popular fish species you can find here are Lake Trout, Brown Trout, King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Walleye, and more. You can keep the catch if you’re looking forward to a delicious meal. If not, the captain will show you how to release the fish.
You should bring a camera, sunglasses, sunblock, a cap, dressing in layers, and food and drinks. Make sure to purchase your fishing license, and get ready to see the beautiful Apostle Islands!

Beautiful day with Bry the Fishing Guy
The weather on Lake Superior was perfect, so Bry took the time to take us out to deeper waters to his favorite “fishing hole”. We caught 7 beautiful on our half-day trip, one of which gave me bragging rights for the biggest fish caught by any of my coworkers this year. My 17lb lake trout beat out even the groupers caught in the Gulf! Thanks for an amazing day Bry!

Awesome trip with Captain Bryan
I have been on many chaters other the years so I say this with the upmost confidence. The morning started off slow as no other boats were catching fish. Our captain didn't give up and we ended up pulling out three on a slow, water so calm it was like glass, hot day. I can honestly say Captain Bryan tried everything he could to get us the fish we had. Nice guy, super easy to talk to, and accommodated us any way he could. I will be coming back.

Father's day gift
We purchased a charter trip for my dad for father's day. He, my mom and brother went out and had an amazing time! They enjoy Capt Bry and Troy and all the knowledge they had to share. Bryan even gave my mom a little tour of the islands while they were out and was very aware of making sure she wasn't feeling seasick. After high winds made the afternoon not possible to do, Bryan was able to get them out that morning instead! They definitely enjoyed it and my brother is already talking of wanting to book another!
