Captain Lee Kaplan offers a variety of trips out of Hollywood, Florida, a place where anglers catch big Bass more than any other state. South Florida is a hotspot for all types of fishing. Captain Lee has been fishing these waters since he was a kid, which makes him a true local expert. Come join him for an adventure and let him put you on some nice fish!
Your boat for the day is a 21' Triton bass boat with room for up to 4 anglers. It uses a 250 HP Yamaha engine and has GPS and fishfinder electronics for quick and efficient movement on the water. The boat is also equipped with a livewell for keeping bait.
Largemouth Bass fishing is always great in the area, and when the weather heats up so is Peacock Bass fishing. Apart from these two species, you can also target some Crab if you want. To attract these fish and others, you will be spinning on light tackle. Kids are welcome to come aboard, just keep in mind that those under 6 have to wear life jackets. Any legal fish you catch is yours to keep.
Captain Lee provides all the rods, reels, and tackle and covers you for fishing licenses. What you should bring for the trip are your food and drinks as well as bait.

Captain Lee started fishing with his dad as a kid. They would fish the Everglades and he became hooked on Bass fishing. Today, the captain is a Gulf War veteran and has served 8 years in the United States Coast Guard. He has been on the water for more than 40 years and has fished with thousands of clients from around the world. He is a USCG licensed 100-ton Master Captain and Engineer as well as an IGFA Certified Captain who competed in numerous freshwater and saltwater tournaments around the country. Captain Lee spent a lot of his time volunteering, teaching children the fundamentals of freshwater and saltwater conservation.
