Captain Dax Hallock will take you to surrounding waters and flatlands of Cape Coral, Florida, and give you the opportunity to encounter many species of the region.
You can explore the area on East Cape Vantage (flats boat) model from 2017. The boat is 19ft long and can take up to 3 guests per trip. GPS, VHS radio, and fishfinder equipment are available. When in flatlands the boat uses the onboard wireless trolling motor, otherwise it runs on a single Suzuki engine that can reach maximum speeds of 25 knots.
This charter specializes in inshore and nearshore fisheries across the backcountry and flatlands locations. There you can practice your skill of light tackle and spinning. Throughout the year you always have a chance to catch Speckled Trout , though depending on the season you might find Permit and Snook. Many species of Bass are also an option.
Families with children are welcome. Anglers should get informed with the captain beforehand which fish they are allowed to keep. The charter provides iced water during trips, but you are responsible for your snacks and additional beverages. Also, be sure to bring sunscreen and a long-sleeved shirt. You are covered by the charter's Florida fishing license, and all the necessary fishing gear, lures, and live baits will be waiting aboard.

Dax ist nicht nur ein cooler Captain, sondern überrascht damit, dass er deutsch spricht und damit der perfekte Guide für Familien aus Deutschland ist, die in Cape Coral und Umgebung angeln wollen. Er hat selbst 2 Kinder und hat unseren Sohn auf dem Trip liebevoll und fürsorglich behandelt und ihm eine Erinnerung verschafft, die er nie mehr vergessen wird. Der Captain kennt die Küste wie seine Westentasche. Wir haben krass viele Fische gefangen und den besten Tag des Urlaubs gehabt! Ein toller Spaß für die ganze Familien und am Ende haben wir noch ein schmackhaftes Abendessen nach Hause nehmen können! Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis für Familien mit Kindern!!

Highly recommend this adventure. Captain Dex was amazing, he made us feel more like family than customers. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip including his secret hiding places. Mon son who is 18 stated this was one of the best experiences ever. If you want to make great memories, book with Capr. Dex. I would recommend a full day as time flies by. I would recommend also bringing some drinks and lunch or snacks. Don't forget your sunscreen. Thanks Cap!

My 13 year old son and I booked a day on the water with captain Dax, and he delivered! My son ended the day by saying it was one of the best days of his life. We caught spotted trout, snook, sheepshead, and red snapper. Many thanks captain Dax as this was a day we won’t soon forget. If anyone is apprehensive about going out with a captain that WANTS you to catch fish... dont be as captain Dax loves fishing and watching you catch fish.
