Captain Bart Smith is a registered Coast Guard captain and has been saltwater fishing for over 30 years. He’s had some great success in the area, and he’ll get you out on the water for an eventful and memorable, hassle-free fishing experience.
You’ll join Capt. Bart on his 21’ Angler center console boat, powered by 150 HP Mercury engine. With GPS, a fishfinder, and VHF radio, you’ll have all the electronics you need to have a productive fishing day. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers, making it the perfect vessel for an outing with a few friends or your family.
These waters are known as very prolific and the abundance of wildlife in the area is amazing. You’ll be cruising the waters in comfort going after some of the most prized Florida fish species like Black Drum, Flounder, Ladyfish, Redfish, Seabass, various species of Shark, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout.
You’ll find everything you need on board – rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and a range of artificial lures. Capt. Bart will be happy to clean and fillet your catch for you so you can take it straight to the table upon your return. Feel free to bring the kids, as they are welcome on board, and this is the perfect opportunity to make some new family memories.

Evening Fishing Trip on April 19, 2025
Bart is a one stop shop. He has everything you need for fishing. He had the boat ready to go with live bait and rods ready to go. I appreciate his patience and expertise as he guided us thru the various fishing spots. He exuded confidence which easily dispelled the nervousness that existed being on a smaller boat. My friends and I had a good time and would definitely book again.

Evening Fishing Trip on September 14, 2024
Captain Bart put us on the fish right away and we caught a variety both inshore and at the Jetties. Highlight was a great red drum for our 13 year old! Always had more bait ready if we happened to be fishing on credit. We saw spoonbills and dolphins, too. Great trip for beginning anglers because it was just long enough. Captain Bart cleaned our catches and also showed our kid how to prepare crab traps back at the marina. Really enjoyed our trip and will definitely book again.

I have always had a love of the water since I can remember. Seafaring captains run in my family – my father, great grandfather, and great-great-grandfather were all sea captains of various sailing ships. I started out in 8' dings and small sailing prams around my home town of Interlaken New Jersey. Shortly after graduating high school I joined and served 5 years in the US Coast Guard. Fishing has always been a passion from light tackle for Largemouth Bass and Carp to surf fishing for Striped Bass and Bluefish off the beach and jetties of the Jersey Shore. Five years ago I decided to put my passion into a career and got my Captain's license and started guiding part-time around the beautiful Amelia Island.
