Head out on the waters of Florida out of Palmetto with Mullet Head Charters and have the time of your life! Captain Steve Collins is the owner and operator of the charter, with 9 years of experience in taking people out. He knows all the best fishing spots in the area, and he’ll make sure you have a fun and productive trip.
Head out on the water on his 22’ Bay Boat, powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. The boat can take up to 4 people fishing, and it’s a safe and reliable vessel for exploring these waters. You’ll find all the navigational electronics on board, helping you find the fish, as well as a live bait tank and an ice box for your catch.
The stunning waters out of Palmetto are home to some incredible wildlife, and there’s a variety of fish species that inhabit them. You can expect a run-in with fish like Snook, Redfish, Drum, Grouper, Flounder, Seatrout, Barracuda, Tripletail, and Sheepshead. It’s a long list, and you can rest assured that you’re not going home empty-handed!
Capt. Steve will provide you with everything you need to reel them in – rods, reel, tackle, as well as live bait and artificial lures to maximize your chances. He’ll be happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, so you can take it home and make a delicious meal for you and your family.
Speaking of family, kids are welcome to come on board, so bring them with you and show them how fun fishing can be! Spend some quality family time with them and make some unforgettable memories. All you need to do is pack some food and drinks for your refreshment, and off you go!

Had a great time taking my daughter, niece and friend fishing with Capt Steve on the Manatee River - he knows his way around like the back of his hand. We could not be more pleased with the catch and the variety of fish we saw and caught. We also saw a sea turtle, waterfowl and so forth so this trip was beyond fishing. Steve is funny and knowledgeable - highly recommend his boat. Thanks Capt Steve!
