This beautiful river is nestled in the natural world of Michigan, right in the heart of the Manistee / Huron National Forrest, and what better way to explore it than with an experienced fishing guide? You’ll be fishing from his 18’ Stealthcraft Power Drifter Jet boat, perfect for accessing all the nooks and crannies of Manistee River. The boat can take up to 2 anglers, so grab a few friends and have a great time! There are navigational electronics on board to help put you on the fish, as well as an ice box for your catch.
Michigan has some of the most beautiful nature around, and the stunning views you’ll enjoy will add to your experience. Manistee River is teeming with wildlife, and it’s a great place to come and let your hair down, reeling in some prized freshwater fish. You can expect to target the likes of Steelhead, Chinook Salmon, as well as Brown Trout and Coho. From early May thru August is the best time to chase Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike on the Fly.
Ken will have all the fishing equipment you’ll need ready for you when you come on board, including rods, reels, and tackle. Ken’s happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, so you’ll get a nice meal out of your trip!
Kids (12+) are welcome to join in on the fun if you want to show them what fishing is all about. All you need to bring is a valid fishing license, as well as some snacks to keep you energized while you battle these trophy fish.
