The boat you’ll be fishing from is a restored 30’ Black Watch saltwater fishing boat big enough to sit up to 6 guests. It runs on twin 250 HP Cummins 6BTA 5.9 engines and has got full-featured navigation electronics to keep you on the course. The boat’s got a flybridge and a portable toilet and is equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and a livewell. It’s also got an ice-box and a refrigerator to store your fish and food. In case you need any help, there’s a first mate you can turn to.
The inshore and offshore waters of Fairhaven offer you plenty of fish to catch. The species you can chase include Bigeye, Bluefin, and Yellowfin Tuna, Flounder, Scup, as well as Mako, Thresher, and Blue Shark. Using light and heavy tackle, you can attract them by bottom and deeps fishing, trolling, spinning, and drift fishing. If you want to, you can keep the fish you catch, and you’re also free to bring kids on your trip.
Captain Bruce covers you for all the fishing gear, frozen bait, lures, and fishing licenses. Also, he’ll clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Bring only your snacks and drinks for the trip.

5 Hour Trip – Family Day (AM)
Perfect family day for Father’s Day
We went out with captain Bruce and his daughter Crystal for a 5 hour morning family trip. I cannot recommend this experience enough. First I was a little concerned that 5 hours would be a long time for our 9,7 and almost 6 year old, I was wrong. Bruce and Crystal are easy to spend the day with for adults and helpful, fun and encouraging with kids. They were both informative and helpful guides and truly just have a love of the experience and sharing it with anyone in their boat. We had some choppy water in the beginning and despite Bruce’s per trip recommendations for sea sick prevention, I still had a moment of discomfort. This was quickly resolved when he pulled out a “relief band” that quickly had me back to 100% and enjoying every moment. From the pre trip recommendations, to the time on the water and cleaning fish after I give this crew 5 stars. This was our first experience taking a fishing charter and I feel so fortunate to have spent it on strike II
