EASTBAY CHARTER
Spend a fun day fishing the inshore waters of East Galveston Bay with Seahunter Adventures! Captain Martin has a lifelong fishing experience and he enjoys sharing it with anglers of all skill levels. His trips are family friendly, so even the little ones can take part in this action. These trips are not just about catching tasty fish, they also show you how amazing nature can be and how easy it is to make long-lasting memories with your loved ones.
Your trip starts on a 21' SeaHunt that has been refurbished a few years ago. There's more than enough room for 4 anglers to fish at the same time. This bay boat is powered by a 175 HP Suzuki engine and features GPS, fishfinder, and a live bait tank.
Capt. Martin's specialty is catching fish with light tackle and he'll show you the best ways to do it. He fishes with live shrimp and popping corks. Your main targets will be inshore species, such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. You can keep the catch after the trip if you're planning to eat the fish. Don't forget to bring your cooler, so you can save the fish for later.
There's no need to rent fishing equipment, since Capt. Martin covers it. Make sure to purchase your fishing license before the trip and prepare some snacks and drinks. It's recommended to bring sunglasses and a hat, especially if you're taking a trip in summertime.
Seahunter Adventures is ready for an inshore adventure. The only thing that's missing is you!

Captain Marty put us on some good action and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful day of catching fish and experiencing nature.
Great guy we caught a whole lotta fish would come back and would recommend to book your fishing trip

looking forward to our next trip , thanks again !

The charter operator canceled 1 days prior to the trip date. This is an automated posting.
Despite the guide being more expensive than others, had to buy our own bait at $50 for just a couple of bags. The trip got cut short because we ran out of bait. The four of us only caught 3 keepers, probably because guide took us to shallow water when water temps were high. I'm not a professional, but even I know that's not where they are during higher temps. I've never had much luck in Galveston areas bays anyhow. For the money we spend in time away from work, getting there, the guide and the bait, you just have to catch fish. Even if it means using more fuel and time to get to those areas. And please, don't overload the boat with people. It makes for a bad experience. Fewer people or bigger boat.
Captain Martin has been running fishing trips out of Galveston for years. His favorite part of the job is when a complete beginner catches their very first fish thanks to him and fall in love with fishing.
