Exotic and untamed, Malaysia has sceneries you’ve never seen. To help you navigate more easily, your guide in this adventure is Lunkerlink Fishing Guide. Captain Zaem has been fishing in the area ever since he was a kid and knows just the right fishing spots. Learn something about the area, immerse yourself into a whole new landscape, and of course, have fun catching fish.
You’ll be fishing from a 12’ custom built boat that accommodates up to 2 anglers. The boat is powered by a small Yamaha engine, which is just enough for the area you’ll cover. Since you’ll be fishing in the lake, you won’t travel a long distance with the boat. A simple and stable boat is all you need for this kind of trip.
Your main targets for the day are Peacock Bass and Snakehead. Capt. Zaem will show you how to catch them using light tackle if you’ve never fished before. Make sure to bring a camera and snap photos with your trophies, since you’ll have to release them.
Capt. Zaem covers your fishing equipment, which includes rods, reels, lures, and live bait. Get your fishing license before the trip and don’t forget to bring some snacks and drinks. A hat and a pair of good sunglasses are always an advantage.

Half Day Trip – Peacock Bass
Simple, easy day out on the lake
Exactly what we were looking for, a quick and easy fishing trip in KL. We could catch and keep, or catch and release depending on what we wanted. The fish we caught weren’t particularly big, but gave good enough fight for ameteurs like us. I definitely recommend Shah and Zaim, who are brothers, running this business. They are both knowledgable, and very personable. Will book again with them next time we come to KL!

Great day out!
Had a great day out with Zaim. Targeted Peacock Bass on a half day trip, caught 12 fish and even lost a couple! Zaim was very knowledgeable about fishing in Malaysia and extremely helpful teaching us how to hook live bait & best areas to cast for fish.

Perfect day - thanks a lot!
I was fishing with Sha from Zaems team and we had a great and successful day! After a couple of good sized peacock bass we switched and focused mainly on snakeheads and even caught two. The vibe is very chilled and it was big fun. They really give everything to ensure you catch fish. If you know how to fish and it’s not your first time fishing, you will defo catch something!
