Exotic and untamed, Malaysia has sceneries you’ve never seen. To help you navigate more easily, your guide in this adventure is Lunkerlink Fishing Guide. Captain Zaem has been fishing in the area ever since he was a kid and knows just the right fishing spots. Learn something about the area, immerse yourself into a whole new landscape, and of course, have fun catching fish.
You’ll be fishing from a 12’ custom built boat that accommodates up to 2 anglers. The boat is powered by a small Yamaha engine, which is just enough for the area you’ll cover. Since you’ll be fishing in the lake, you won’t travel a long distance with the boat. A simple and stable boat is all you need for this kind of trip.
Your main targets for the day are Peacock Bass and Snakehead. Capt. Zaem will show you how to catch them using light tackle if you’ve never fished before. Make sure to bring a camera and snap photos with your trophies, since you’ll have to release them.
Capt. Zaem covers your fishing equipment, which includes rods, reels, lures, and live bait. Get your fishing license before the trip and don’t forget to bring some snacks and drinks. A hat and a pair of good sunglasses are always an advantage.

Had a great fishing session with Shah! I was lucky enough to see a huge Arapaima while we were about to get onto the boat! Also saw otters and caught 15 or more Peacock Bass. Extremely productive session and lots of fun. Definitely recommend even if it seems like a bit of a distance to get to from KL.
