Papa Pip’s 36' Bruel Express
Johnny Maddox Charters runs a variety of fishing trips out of Marathon, FL. However skillful you may be, Capt. Johnny will help you on the water. His mission is for your trip to be successful and enjoyable. He has a stable vessel, deep knowledge of these fisheries, and offers a professional service.
These fisheries are home to major inshore and offshore species. You could be fishing for some delicious table fare, while targeting Snapper and Grouper around the reefs. There you can also encounter Mackerel and Cobia while trolling, and Sailfish have been spotted there every now and then. Of course, if you’re more into game fish, Capt. Johnny will take you fishing around the Atlantic. There you can get Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi, and Marlin.
Capt. Johnny has over five decades of fishing experience. He likes working with rookie anglers and teach them how to fish, but he also has a trick or two for seasoned anglers. People like fishing with him, and the best evidence are numerous repeat customers and stellar reviews.
Johnny will take you fishing on his 36’ Bruiel boat. She can accommodate up to six anglers and has the speed and stamina to take on offshore waters. The boat is equipped with a 300 HP Detroit engine, has navigational electronics, and features a flybridge, a private toilet, outriggers, downriggers, a live bait well, an ice box, and stores all the fishing gear you may need. There is a game chair onboard, as well as a first mate to help you out.
The trip rates include the license, a fine selection of fishing equipment, and bottled water. You should prepare your own food and drinks of choice, and come dressed for the trip. The trips run year round, but it’s best to check beforehand what you can target on your selected date.
Capt. Johnny and his first mate work very hard to ensure your maximum enjoyment on his charter, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. The first mate works for tips only, with 20% being customary in this area.
