In case you’re having second thoughts because you’ve never fished before, you can be at ease, as there’s no need to have any fishing experience. Captain Dmitry will show you how to use the equipment and how to react when you feel the bite. You’ll notice a great difference between your first and the last cast during the trip.
Welcome aboard a 27’ center console that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s been newly restored in 2020 and has the latest navigational electronics and she’s powered by twin 90 HP Yamaha engines. In case you wish to take a break from fishing, you can use snorkeling equipment that’s on the boat and take a swim.
You’ll go after various reefs, wrecks, and flats species such as Barracuda, Wahoo, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Grouper, Swordfish, and Jack Crevalle. The boat is equipped for all kinds of fishing techniques, so you can try out trolling, deep drop, and bottom fishing.
Your fishing equipment is included in the price, so you only need to bring some snacks, drinks, and sun protection.

Great Experience!
While the fishing was slow on the day I went out, Captain Dmitry worked hard to find the fish. We started by catching fish for bait and then moved to several locations in search of bigger game fish. We did end up catching a grouper, which was the first one I've ever caught! Captain Dmitry uses an app to translate between Russian and English. We actually talked quite a bit since it was just me and him on the boat that day. I definitely made a new friend that day. It was a beautiful day on the ocean, but the waves were a constant 4-6 feet where we were fishing. Definitely recommend dramamine, since the boat is smaller. While I wish the fishing was better, I still had an outstanding experience. I'll definitely book with Captain Dmitry the next time I'm in the DR!

Great Trip
Had a great trip yesterday. Seas were rough so we had to head in early. Caught sand tile fish for bait then caught red snapper strawberry grouper and another orange grouper that I was unfamiliar with. Caught 1 larger shark too that caught for an hour….was quite the workout. Took a big snapper to a restaurant the captain recommended that they cooked up. The 1 fish fed five of us! Gave the rest to the captain

Great Trip!
We did the short trip a couple of miles off shore where you drop your line in the water and wait for the bite using cut bait. Good trip. Was a bit wavy so take a Dramamine and don't drink the night before. We caught some fish though so it was good.

Very friendly and capable captain!
Dmitry was very friendly and helped us beginner anglers catch some nice grouper. He had all sorts of equipment for small and big fish as well as trawling/bottom fishing, the latter of which is preferred on this boat. We used Google translate to talk back and forth and Dmitry's cheerful disposition made up for the language barrier. We would definitely go with Dmitry again!

Great Fishing and Outstanding Captain
Dmitry was extremely knowledgeable and made our fishing trip fun and successful. I appreciated his insight into how best to hook our catch and not lose them. Fishing on the open water in the sea is not the same as I was used to in small streams and lakes, his advice was very useful.
