Slacktyde Charters 

There were 6 of us and we all had a blast. This was our first fishing charter and we were so glad we did it. Captain Tyler was awesome and had us catching fish at each spot he took us to. Everyone was able to catch a Grouper, and we even caught a Nurse Shark!!!! We saw a couple Dolphins and Manatees as well. Tyler was very personable and patient. I highly recommend him if you’re contemplating which captain to chose for a fishing charter!

we booked with tyler and told him we wanted snook and tarpon. He was extremely knowledgeable, he grew up on the island and now does charters and it shows his Knowledge. not only did he land us a trophy snook, we also got our first tarpon! It was an amazing charter! So good we tried to book another one for the next day but he was booked already and rightfully so! Go to this guy if you want to catch fish!!

Captain Tyler is hands down one of the best fishing guides I’ve ever had the pleasure of fishing with. From the moment we stepped on the boat, his personable nature and deep knowledge of the waters, fish, and local wildlife set the tone for an unforgettable day. He took the time to ask what we wanted to catch, then went after each species with laser focus and precision. Whether we were using live bait or lures, Tyler was quick and completely on the money. The boat was in perfect condition, super comfortable, and clearly well-maintained. What really set this trip apart, though, was Tyler’s incredible eye!!! Tyler could spot fish, dolphins, sharks, and even manatees from what seemed like a mile away! It wasn’t just a fishing trip, it was also a nature tour. As we moved from spot to spot, Tyler acted like a guide to the ecosystem around us, pointing out wildlife and sharing interesting facts about the area. Great guy, great attitude, and just an all-around top-tier experience. Highly recommend Slacktyde Charters if you’re looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and fun day on the water!

First time fishing in SW Florida and Capt Tyler did not disappoint! He puts you on fish, Plain and simple. We got into about 7 species of fish including, a bunch of keeper mangrove snapper. Easily a dozen or more snook, and sight casted my personal best redfish at 34” - which was awesome! Capt Tyler knows the area like the back of his hand, very knowledgeable, and was super attentive. He was always there with a fresh bait and quick tip to get a bite!

Catching fish on a good day is exciting, but not as challenging. Catching fish on the morning after a storm takes patience and a skilled guide. Captain Tyler was determined to find the right location to fish at, and we went to several spots. As a result, everyone had the thrill of catching fish! Captain Tyler gave his best effort with patience and good guidance. An enjoyable day!

No need to keep searching for Charter Captain in SW Florida; this is the guy. Great morning out with friends and kids. Over 4 hours we hit 1/2 dozen spots getting several fish on the line at each. Maybe 8 different species... I lost count. Most importantly, Tyler had a pleasant attitude and gave easy instructions. Obvious that he loves being out on the water and helping others catch fish. Already trying to plan dates to visit again in a few months.

Thanks to Captain Tyler for great day on the water. We had a great time and came away with enough keepers to have a HUGE dinner. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great time fishing with Tyler, would highly recommend him! We caught Red fish, snook, goliath grouper, lady fish, jack fish, mackerel, trout and cat fish. Had an awesome dinner that night!

Had a great day on the water, was able to catch what we targeted as well as catch a couple other unexpected species.

Tyler was great. Took 6 of us out. We caught 40 to 50 fish. Would recommend Tyler and this trip to anyone.
