Explore southern Missouri and northwest Arkansas with Mozark Fishscapes! Your guide and host, Captain Darren, has been fishing these lakes since he was a kid and it’s a passion that lasts for over 30 years.
The majority of the trips depart from boat docks in and around Branson, depending on where the fish bite is the best at the moment. There’s a variety of Bass species in these waters, such as Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted, and White. Some of the best action you can get is jig fishing for bass early in the year or finesse fishing them in the spring with the Ned Rig.
Other possible catches include Crappie, Walleye, Steelhead, and Brown Trout. Capt. Darren is an avid fly fisherman and he brings that equipment too on his trips. This technique gives you a more personal experience, so don’t miss out on the chance to try it.
You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Basscat boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. She’s powered by a 250 HP Mercury Verado engine and features Lowrance navigational electronics, safety equipment, a live bait tank, and a cooler.
Capt. Darren covers all the fishing equipment you’ll need, including rods, reels, lures, and fly gear. Your fishing trip also includes light snacks and soft drinks. You only need to get your fishing license on time and you’re ready to go!
Whether you are an avid angler or casting a line for the first time, Mozark Fishscapes will do their best to make sure your trips is a memorable one. Join today!
