I, Captain Scott Henson, own and operate Reel Time Striper Guide, LLC. I have been guiding on Lake Texoma since 2007 and have been fishing my whole life. I am licensed and fully insured in Oklahoma and Texas. I fish from a 23' Falcon boat that is clean and safe. Captain Scott Henson will accompany you and do everything in his power to help you have a good catch, as well as enjoy the calming waters of Lake Texoma.
Your trip will start on a 23' Falcon center console boat powered by a 225 Honda engine. The boat has plenty of space for up to 6 fishermen. It features modern GPS and fishfinder systems which help you get to the fish quickly. The boat is also equipped with downriggers and a livewell.
Lake Texoma is the home of Striped Bass, so that will be your primary target. Captain Scott uses light tackle and specializes in trolling. You're not bound to release your catch back to the water. Your fish will be cleaned and bagged, you keep it, take it home, and prepare some delicious meals.
Reel Time Striper Guide Service has you covered for all the fishing gear you'll need. This includes rods, reels, terminal tackle, as well as live bait and lures. The captain will even clean, fillet, and bag the fish you catch at no extra charge. Please bring an ice chest for taking your fish home. For the trip, you'll need your Lake Texoma fishing license and it's always wise to pack some snacks, drinks and sun screen so you can refresh yourself if needed.

Captain Scott is the real deal. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he made everyone feel welcome and at ease. He knew exactly where to put us on the fish and worked nonstop to make sure the lines stayed tight. Most importantly, he went out of his way to make sure our grandsons had a memorable experience—patient, encouraging, and genuinely excited for every fish they caught. He’s friendly, professional, and clearly loves what he does. If you’re looking for a guide who knows the water and cares about his clients, Captain Scott is your guy. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water.
Captain Scott was great. He kept all the lines tended to and took care of the fish as they came in. At the end of the day he filleted and baged the fish.
Captain Scott did a great job finding fish, they just weren’t biting all that well. That’s why they call it fishing and not catching right?!? But an overall great experience, we still managed to put plenty of fish in the boat, including a 20lb blue cat.
My son, two grandsons and I fished the morning of March 17th. My son and grandsons had never been boat fishing. Fishing was tough due to the coming spawn and other boats were reporting pretty low number but Captain Scott worked his tail off and we came in with 21 fish. He was great with my 10 and 15 year old grandsons, he was helpful, taught all of us much more about strippers (even me) and was very personable. it was a truly memorable trip and we'll do this every year now with Captain Scott as a guide.

The boys had never been on a guided fishing trip. They had no clue what they were in for! Fish were hitting the top of the water and they got excited. First few cast and the fish were biting. Even managed to catch 2 fish on one cast. Loads of fun! The guide, Scott Henson, was patient with the boys and once the early morning bite slowed down, he worked hard to find more fish so we could get our limit. The boys will never forget this and will want to go again soon!
