Head out to Aransas Pass, Texas and let Barefoot Charters take you on a breathtaking fishing adventure. Captain Timothy Cleghorn is a lifelong fisherman who will take you fishing inshore, nearshore, and flats, and do his best to make your trip memorable.
Your journey will begin on a new 23’ Mowdy flats boat powered by a 200 Suzuki engine. There’s enough space for up to 4 anglers. The boat’s adapted so that the guests in wheelchairs can come aboard as well, so they shouldn’t let their health situation discourage them from joining. The boat’s equipped with GPS and fishfinder systems, and a livewell.
Captain Timothy uses light tackle and specializes in spinning. He’ll take you to the best spots in the area for chasing Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. You can choose whether you’ll keep your catch or release it back into the water.
You’ll have all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures waiting for you on the boat. At the end of your trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch, so you can easily prepare some delicious meals. He’ll also provide you with fishing licenses and drinks, so you should only pack some food or snacks before you depart.

The tides had changed up the environment some and the water but captain knew different spots to adjust to the odds and land on fish were able to snatch some keepers and reel in plenty of fighters . Overall Satisfied

Half day trip with Tim
Had a great time with a great captain! We may not have limited out, but we caught what we could in the time we had. Captain Tim did everything he could to get us on some fish, but the fish don’t always cooperate… hence the old saying “it ain’t called catching, it’s called fishing”. Still had a great time and would recommend this captain in a heartbeat. It was great to share stories and different fishing techniques with a great captain.

Half Day with Captain Tim
I went out for a half day trip with Captain Tim and had a great time. He was fun to be on the water with and he put me on fish. I have taken a handful of other guided trips and I would rate this trip among the most enjoyable I have taken. It was a solid, fun day of fishing and I definitely recommend booking with him.

Had a great time with a great captain! We may not have limited out, but we caught what we could in the time we had.
