Come to Islamorada, Florida, the Sportfishing Capital of the World, and embark on a memorable journey. Spring Mix II Sportfishing will take you nearshore and offshore, to reefs and wrecks, and put you on the best fishing spots in the area. Captain Chris Watkowski will accompany you and make sure you have an enjoyable and exciting trip.
Your journey will start on a 43’ Alex Willis offshore sport fishing boat. It can take up to 6 guests, is powered by twin 500 HP Cummins engines, and has got Furuno and Icom navigation electronics. This huge powerful boat will provide you with a kitchen, toilet, shower, and bed. Guests in wheelchairs are more than welcome to come aboard. Just ask the captain and he will give you the technical details. There is also onboard air conditioning, a multimedia system, TV, refrigerator, and ice-box. The fishing gear includes outriggers and a livewell. A first mate will also be coming along.
The fish-rich grounds will give you plenty of excitement. You’ll hunt for different kinds of Snapper and Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Amberjack, Tuna, and more. A choice of techniques you’ll be able to try out is big. It includes bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift and kite fishing. Spring Mix II Sportfishing is a kid-friendly charter, so have your whole family experience the wonders of sea world. You’re free to keep the fish you catch or release it.
Captain Chris will provide all the fishing equipment and licenses. He’ll also clean and fillet your fish. The customary tip for the first mate is 20% of the price. Pack some food and drinks, and hop aboard for the adventure.

Great captain and deckhand

Was a lil slow on fishing but did catch a decent amount and even an eel captain and deckhand were super friendly and helpful the equipment was good and the boat was very nice

Family fishing trip on the Spring Mix II

First time out for our boys. They had a blast!!!! Captain Chris knew exactly where to take us for some great fishing. Jeremy was the mate on our trip. I can’t say enough about Jeremy. He was great with the kids and we have multiple ages. Very patient and you could see how much he enjoyed teaching them and helping them.
We had a great experience and a great catch. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an amazing experience with great memories to book with them.
Very welcoming, knowledgeable and they will make sure you have a fantastic, memorable trip

Best shark fishing ever with Capt. Chris
3 Hour Trip – Shark Fishing on April 4, 2022 • 5 adults
Capt. Chris and his first mate Jacob helped us catch many, many shark. From a baby pinhead to a sharks over 250lbs. it was amazing. While waiting for the sharks to arrive, they baited another pole with shrimp, which kept our kids busy reeling in snappers and even a puffer fish which they thought was so cool. We have been on charters before and I can tell you, this is a great boat and these guys will put you on fish. If you have a family with kids, they really do a nice job guiding the kids on how to reel in too.

We had a great day aboard the Spring Mix II. Capt. Chris and Jacob were great. We caught more a bunch of great fish (Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel and Yellow Jack. after we caught as much fish as we could enjoy- we went to try an catch sailfish- me managed to snag one to complete our trip. I highly recommend taking a charter with these folks when in Islamorada- This was our 1st visit and should we come back- we will be booking with them again. Great fun.

My wife, and our two children w/spouses wanted to get out and do some fishing and enjoy a day on the water. The weather was perfect and Capt. Chris and Jacob did a great job of making it a great day. The fish weren't quite as accommodating but Chris and Jacob found enough of them for everyone to put some in the boat and enjoy a couple of meals of great tasting fish.
Next time we're down we'll definitely be planning another trip.
