Star Co Charters invites you to fun inshore fishing trips. We launch out of Corpus Christi, Texas, you and Captain Mick Linares will travel from the Upper Laguna Madre down to the Land Cut just south of Baffin Bay and explore the shallow and calm waters in the area in search of fish.
You'll be fishing on a 24ft Trancat 240SVT bay boat that can take up to five anglers. It runs on a 250 HP Suzuki engine and has got a fine navigation onboard system as well as a t top for shade and a raised console. The boat will provide you with an ice-box so your food and drinks stay cool, and is also equipped with a livewell.
You'll be chasing Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Flounde. Using light tackle, you'll have the chance to croaker fish, throw live shrimp, soak cutbait as well as drift fish with lures if you prefer. Captain Mick also offers flyfishing and sight casting trips. Keeping your catch is allowed so you're free to take home what you catch and have some lovely meals. Children are welcome to join in, so don't hesitate to bring them along with you, it's a great opportunity for them to fall in love with fishing.
Captain Mick will provide you with all the tackle, rods, and reels, as well as with fly fishing gear if you prefer. Lures and live bait are included as well. At the end of your trip, the captain will also clean and fillet your catch. Make sure you pack fishing licenses, some food, and your favorite drinks, clothing for the weather and you're ready for the journey.
