Perseverance Charters
Perseverance Charters fishes out of Key Largo, a unique fishing destination with some of the richest fishing grounds in Florida. It offers inshore, nearshore, flats, and backcountry fishing trips. Captain Rick Barry will do his best to help you land a great catch and have plenty of fun on the water.
Your trip will start on a restored 22' bay boat powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine. It can sit up to four guests.The boat’s equipped with an ice box and a livewell, and you’ll have access to all the fishing gear you’ll need for a great day on the water.
There will be a big selection of fish for you to chase. Some of it includes Snapper, Redfish,Jacks,Snook, and Tripletail. You’ll be using light tackle.You can keep all the fish you catch, or, if you prefer, you can return it back to the water. The captain loves having kids on his boat, so don’t hesitate to take your whole family aboard.
No need to worry about the fishing equipment because Perseverance Charters has you covered for all the tackle, plus lures and live bait. Fishing licenses will also be provided. There will be water on board, so if you’d like some other drinks, as well as food, make sure you pack them.

Fishing with Rick
Captain Rick could not have been a nicer guy. He communicated well prior to trip. When we met him at the dock he was prepared and ready to go. He listened to what we were hoping for that day and then made a plan. As someone from Key Largo he was knowledgeable about the waters and got us on some fish. His boat was great and very comfortable. He provided great tackle and bait to go with it. I could not recommend Rick and Perseverance charters more.

Highly recommend!
We had the best time fishing with Captain Rick. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We moved several times to make sure we had the best chance of getting as many fish as possible. Rick went above and beyond to show us a good time. Can’t recommend enough!

Great day on the water!
We had a great time with Captain Rick. He adjusted the fishing time for us to see the sunset. While on the water, he did a great job explaining where to cast, how to move the bait, and quickly fixed rods up for us to continue fishing. He had great equipment and his boat is in pristine condition. For the price, this is a great deal for a wonderful experience fishing in Key Largo. You should definitely book with Captain Rick!!

“A picture is worth a thousand words”. I think the pictures of my sons face tells it all. He had an amazing day at sea with Capt Ricky. All these fish were caught today. My son has been looking forward to this trip and it was so worth it. My son does not know how to fish and Capt Ricky was so kind and so patient, and taught my son so much. It was an amazing day at sea in the Keys. I’m so glad we met you and looking forward to a future trip. Thank you for an amazing experience. My son is till smiling.
