Fish-In-Daze Destin 

My son and I were blown away by our experience with Captain Rob! His wealth of knowledge and incredible experience are second to none! He put us on fish quick! We limited out on Red Snapper, caught Amberjack and never had a bare hook for long! The dolphins swimming alongside looking for a free snack were a fun bonus! When the waves got to be too much—he guided us to calmer waters where the redfish put up a great fight! We HIGHLY recommend Captain Rob and Fish-N-Daze! Beautifully filleted all of our keepers as well as shared recipes for each type of fish! We will be back in Destin next summer and are already looking into booking again! Also—shout out to Destin Ice House for expertly freezing and packing our catch to carry on the airplane for our trip home! Book without hesitation!!!

Our family had an unforgettable fishing trip with Captain Robert! From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. He took the time to thoroughly explain the equipment, review all of the safety procedures, and made sure everyone—especially our children—felt comfortable and confident. Throughout the trip, Captain Robert patiently coached us, offering helpful tips and feedback that made us better anglers while keeping the experience fun and relaxed. Thanks to his expertise, we caught an incredible 25 fish, with the majority being mahi-mahi! Both our children and the adults had an amazing time. The excitement of reeling in fish, learning new skills, and spending quality time together on the Gulf made this an experience we'll never forget. This trip created memories our family will cherish for a lifetime. If you're looking for an outstanding fishing charter, we can't recommend Captain Robert enough. We would absolutely book another trip with him!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Robert! He met us early in his PRISTINE boat and got us on the water quick. He knew exactly where to take us and put us on fish fast! The winds were rough on the gulf side so we stuck to the bay side in Destin where we had nice calm water. We caught a bunch of Mangrove Snapper and our limit on Redfish. He was great with the kids and gave clear and precise instructions to help us bass fishermen get hooked on saltwater. He cleaned and fileted our catch, packed then in ice and gave us great cooking tips which made for one of the best seafood meals we had. We highly recommend and will book him again next time we're in town!

We were unlucky enough to book during a rougher week. The wind gust were a little much for us to go into the gulf, but we were fortunate enough to have a great captain that looked out for us. He took us around in the bay and we caught some nice fish. some spanish makerals some blue runners and some blue fish. My son also caught his new biggest fish to date with a 9.3 lbs red fish. We had a lot of fun and captain Rob was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. Would love to come back and go out on the gulf next time.

I’ve been on many charters (30 plus). I don’t share that to brag, but to provide some context to my experience with trying hard to find a boat that would give us an experience that we have found ao hard to project from these booking websites. We will charter with Captain Robert many times in the future. Catching fish is as up to the fish as it is the Captains talent. What was different today from most was his willingness to teach, to engage and to help improve our skill to catch the fish that did hit. Moreover, we had 2 9 year olds on a boat for the first time. His attentiveness and encouragement in a language that they could understand and then entusiam when they brought fish into the boat was as if he was catching fish fo the first time. I wish more people wrote reviews of the best Captains they’ve fished with, cause i wouldnt have been distracted by the advertisements and marketing that some focus on rather than being truly great at their craft. Captain Robert is the latter. My daughter and I can’t wait to fish with you again, sir! Also, we caught 18 spanish in 2 hours.

This is our second trip with captain Robert. Each time he has been amazing! We had 4 adults and 1 young kid. He took us out to catch a bunch of small fish for our kid, we caught about 15 sandperch in about 20 minutes, which was an amazing experience for our kid! Then we went to another spot where we caught several larger trigger fish, which was a lot of fun for the adults. Afterwards, captain Robert cleaned all the fish and we took them to a local restaurant for dinner. All around a 5 star experience!

Today, being the day before a holiday, made for busy & choppy water but Robert found the best spots for us to make some great catches. 2 of our 4 were feeling a bit seasick but the other 2 caught fish the majority of the trip. Robert was helpful & knowledgeable. The boat was very clean.

We enjoyed catching a variety of fish! The sharks were plentiful but nothing we could do about that. Our captain helped us find fish and get them in the boat. We had a delicious dinner thanks to him! Very clean boat and easy to use equipment.

A Captain with experience and knowledge! Knew exactly what to do and we landed the fish! I would recommend to a friend!
