The Fish-In-Daze is a 21’ Cape Horn saltwater fishing boat. Its most striking feature is a high tower fitted with controls that gives a great vantage point from the water. The boat has a jack plated engine that allows it to run in shallow depths, while it also tackles choppier waters nearshore well.
Capt. Rob will accommodate all levels of anglers, providing all the fishing equipment, including live bait. After a beautiful day out enjoying the nice Florida sun and hooking the fish of a lifetime, he’ll clean and fillet your catch for you to take home.
During your trip, you will not only learn to fish with an expert fisherman, but you will also have a great time having fun with mother nature. You can target the biggest of fish for game and sport, or go for the best-tasting species to let your memories of the trip continue onto the table that evening.
You may be trolling the Gulf for King Mackerel, Bonito and, if you’re lucky, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Tuna, and Sailfish. You can also try bottom fishing or spot casting (depending on the season) to land some delicious table fare or test your angling skills.

Amazing trip!
Kids 2-hour Bay Trip on May 27, 2025
We booked a 2 hour kids trip for 4 adults and 1 kid. We caught about 15 fish total, 3 keepers, and our kid had an amazing time reeling them in! Afterwards, our guide cleaned the fish and pointed us to a great restaurant where they prepared the fish for us. The guide was knowledgeable and fun, overall this was an amazing experience! We had gone on a guided fishing trip before in Destin with someone else, but this fishing trip was way better. I highly recommend captain Robert Broestler!

The captain was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was my 9 and 7 year old boys first time fishing and they were able to catch 13 fish. I would highly recommend for the novice or expert fisher.

Trip was perfect for the kids. Put us on fish immediately. Ended up catching 16 total. Several mackerel and blue fish. Kids had a blast!

Half Day Trip on July 8, 2024
Captain Robert was excellent guide and put us on fish within minutes upon stopping on spot. Although the season is not ideal for many kinds of fish species we caught several medium size Spanish Mackerel on two hours of fishing. We opted to stay in the Bay as it was too rough offshore and half day will not be enough time to run out and fish. He also expertly filleted the fish and directed us to the restaurant that will cook and Serve the fish to order. We highly recommend Captain Robert should you need to go fishing.

In the heat of summer it’s best if children can communicate with the parents and myself. I leave it up to the parents to the age of 2 in the climatically nicer periods of the year. My life jackets on board will fit sizes starting at 4-5 years of age.
