Captain Ben Lakatos will lead you and make sure you have the best fishing experience possible.
A great variety of fish species awaits you in Tarpon Springs. You can target Shark, Trout, Reds, Snook, Sheepshead, Grunts, Flounder, and more. To catch them, you’ll bottom fish, troll, and jig, using both light and medium tackle. Whatever fish you catch, it will provide for a great table fare and you’re free to take it home. If you don’t want to, just return it to the water and sail on.
Captain Ben will provide you with all the fishing gear you’ll need. This includes rods, reels, terminal tackle, and lures. You’re also covered for fishing licenses, so the only thing you should bring is some food and drinks to stay refreshed.

Captain Ben is very knowledgeable about where to fish. Got us on some Reds 5 minutes off the dock!! Took care of everything: baiting hooks, provided tackle and changed locations of the bite was not happening. His knowledge of when and where to fish was excellent! Our last stop proved to have great hits and catches! He didn’t want to head back in the bite was so good! However all things must come to an end and he gave us a wonderful fishing trip. We will definitely hire Ben again! The pontoon boat provided us with enough fishing space and comfort. Ben is an excellent conversationalist and made us feel at home on his boat. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again!

Great family experience
I wanted a fun family experience where my kiddos coluld catch some fish and have some fun. Captain Ben is very family friendly and was flexible in accommodating the children and their interests. I wasn't expecting a full day catching game fish or a cooler of keepers, mostly making lasting memories with my children. They had so much fun catching the fish we did, swimming, learning about the boat and a pod of dolphins that he took time to stop and let us enjoy their show was the cherry on top! We will definitely be using his services again. Thank you Captain Ben for the "best day ever!" As my children said!!

Half day trip with captain Ben
Captain Ben was very accommodating - even leaving the dock early to meet our schedule. He was on time and very friendly. He had a comfortable pontoon boat. We had a very windy day which made some fishing sites difficult to access and fish. We all caught fish but only caught one that was a keeper due to size. Captain Ben filleted the fish for us. When we went to pay we discovered that he did not accept credit cards. We had paid the deposit online to the booking company so figured we could pay the balance that way. We consider this miscommunication the fault of the booking company not Captain Ben. He was very understanding as we left to go get cash to pay him.

Awesome day on the water!
We had a great day on the water - didn't catch anything keepable - great bites tho, but continued to move around and look for more fish. The only word I have is, if you are someone who needs a bathroom, the 'toilet' is a bucket. Not Captains fault - it is considered a 'bathroom' in a boat if there is a private space to use the bucket. Still give it a 5 all the way around and are looking for when we can go and play again!
