Starting out of Freeport, Texas, you and Captain Kale Kram will explore rivers, flats, reefs, and inshore waters in search of some quality fish. The captain is an experienced and skilled angler who knows how to take you to the fish and help you have a great time. The Freeport area is rich in sea life, so prepare for an interesting and successful angling adventure!
You’ll fish from a 23’ Shoalwater bay boat powered by a 250 HP Mercury Pro XS engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 50 knots. The boat can sit up to 4 guests, uses modern GPS and fishfinder navigation technology to easily reach the best spots, and is equipped with a livewell to supply you with live bait.
You and Captain Kale will target Red Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Redfish, Flounder, and Sheepshead. You’ll catch them by bottom fishing, drift fishing, as well as Flounder gigging, all using light tackle. You get to keep all the fish you catch and you can bring kids on your trip.
All the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures will be waiting for you on the boat. You just need to bring fishing licenses as well as food and drinks of your choice and you’ll be all set.

Full Day Trip on June 22, 2021
We had a great time and definitely an interesting trip. It started with a little rain and then we had to get off the water while a lightning storm blew through. We went back fishing and caught a variety of fish. Captain Kale even stayed out a couple of hours longer than we were scheduled for to make up for the lightning storm. I definitely recommend him. And he just loves hardheads (inside joke).
